I need to dig my blu ray version out )
So in a nutshell, due to the lack of screen footage the scarf model is not 100% certain???
No, mate.
And neither are any of the ties (bar the ones with Costume Card swatches, of course); TF made so many that were so damn close in style and design, that the screen used ones are pretty difficult to confirm (like the scarf).
And anyone who tells you he has a 100% contact at TF or anything similar, then regard their opinions with some scepticism.
We all have the best matches we could get, and which we hoped were 100% accurate. They maybe, they may not (even some on here whose opinions and connections I respect 100%, aren't totally, absolutely confident).
Don't put your mortgage on any TF item from QOS. (Hell, there was even some confusion about the shades being Oliver Peoples, wasn' there, Bondtoys )
Well, it was YOUR scepticism and YOUR confusion, not mine DS.
My information was clear as it can get! You have been in the Adam Simmonds camp and where ranting on all other opinions and informations.
And as you did not even have the guts to apologize, your comment can't be regarded as very funny 8-)

Oh cheer up, you miserable individual; I was only trying to make light of the examples of confusion on kit from QOS.
Clearly, you are not prepared to take my comments in the spirit in which they were intended. Maybe it's lost in translation so cheeck with you pal Asp9mm.
Some of us, however, aren't able to hold silly grudges after all this time over something as childish as James Bond's specs!
And you aren't getting an apology because one isn't waranted, just as there wasn't in the past. You know the past? The only dead thing that smells sweet. For those who chose to live in it and not move on.
Nice attitude, DS!
So, you wanted to "make light of the examples of confusion on fit from QoS"?
I'd say, you have been on the wrong track all way long and neither had the info or the greatness to admit it!
I enjoy funny remarks all the way but not from an individual, is not able to say: "I was wrong"
And regarding Asp9mm: Do you have friends here? I guess, the only one, that you are able to see is your face in the mirror......

No, my friend, I wanted to make light of the fact a thread can have a ludicrous number of posts back and forth over something like the confusion of manufacturer of JB's shades! (You will recall from your order with Adam Simmonds, you yourself intially believed they were OPs!)
But tell you what, Toys, I really think you have missed my attempt at humour - perhaps humour isn't your thing - and your obsession with an apology for no reason after what? - nearly three years? - is rather concerning.
But why don't you post a link to the thread we're refering to and let's let today's ajbers decide?
Maybe, I am missing your humor, maybe you don't have one, who knows?
And I am pretty sure, that those who are interested will find the corresponding thread and draw their own conclusions.

As far as humor, I must admit I never understood the goading of others or anti-American statements but then maybe I have a limited reach and interpretation of some posts. Also, I believe it is very difficult to measure TONE in posts and emails, thus making them difficult.
I guess Tosca isn't for everyone.

I think the board has done quite a good job and there is no need to go back into dark ages where nothing is certain.
Fair comment on screen used items, Dave. Though personally - and this could be my lack of involvement in the "hardcore" collecting circles - I've never seen anyone whip out an item and say this was defo Craig's tie in QOS. I have, however, heard the defence that to do so would compromise the person who 'supplied' the item from their employers, EON. So it's a bit of a vicious circle, isn't it?
I hope you've never come across anti-American sentiments on here, Dave, though I do agree with you: much can be lost in black and white, or the understanding of the sarcasm/irony of 'foreigners' like me.

I think Mantis tried the gloves at a Tom Ford store, so... But the scarf is DEFINITELY Tom Ford, and the two versions or so that exist are very close between them.
The tie? The scarf? The scarf we don't know, it's too dark in the movie to know.
Checked black on brown...I believe (*)

Yes, cut them in half and sew them together
So apart from the colour is the ebay one even the correct type pattern??

There's a great tie that's VERY close to the PTS on Raffaello, and instead of Magnoli quality, you get the Tom Ford quality...
I bought myself one and it's great. The closest you'll get to the real tie, but be aware that the pattern is NOT OK (it's the Greene party pattern). But the quality and effect is similar to PTS.
Sometimes Prada, Dior have something that looks alike.
