  He's not as severe looking as Bale, who by the way with his long face and saturnine features looks more like the Joker than Batman in the comic books.

  Hmmm, maybe Heath Ledger would still be alive today if Ledger was cast as Batman and Christian Bale was cast as The Joker....Well, I guess we'll never know now, we'll we?

  He just might have though from what I've heard Heath Ledger struggled with is addictions before he was ever cast as the Joker. Though is reputation in this regard has mostly been protected since his death, there was a fair amount of discussion about how he might be self-destructive before.
