Baron Boutique Suits.

Greetings to everyone!

Quite new here, have been reading the boards for some time. I am very interested in ordering a Quantum suit by baron Boutique. I have read threads that suggest his suits are of good quality and service is reputable.

I am wondering, from people who have already ordered and are satsified. How did you best obtain your measurements?

Likewise, any hint's or tips for doing this from people of sartorial or tailoring knowledge?

Any help would be appreciated on the topic, or anything related to it.

Kind regards.

    Welcome! I ordered 2 identical quantum suits from them (charcoal grey and midnight blue) and am relatively happy. The quality is pretty good. I had my measurements taken by a professional wardrobe person on a broadway show (my line of work) so she knew what she was doing. The only thing I need to adjust is the sleave length about a half inch but overall, I'm happy. I'd like to order a pinestripe one next from them. Raj provided great service and kept in great contact over email. Feel free to ask him plenty of questions before ordering. Hope this helps. :)-{

Finally bit the bullet and ordered one. No option to have the suit 'fully canvassed' but have requested this. Also gone for the 5 buttons on sleeve.

HOPE to god it's a good fit.

Did you consider Magnoli Clothiers ?

Yea, I looked at both. Didn't order the shirt and tie from Baron, just the suit. Prefer the look of the suits from Baron to be honest. Magnoli does some fantastic ties though, might have to buy one of the CR ones soon!

    Thanks

I had several suits made by Magnoli and after a few small tweaks from my local tailor they ended up quite nicely. Haven't tried Baron Boutique, but I'm not looking for another suit at present either.

I have the CR suit from BB and am not entirely happy, but I have covered that in previous posts, so wont restate it here.

For a fit you will be happy with, measurements are absolutely critical. If you are not 100% sure about any measurement, make sure you work it out before the suit is made. Also, let BB know to query you if any measurements don’t look right.

My BB suit was the first made to order suit I ever had made, and I didnt know how to accurately measure myself. I gave them some incorrect measurements that an experienced tailor should have found unusual, but BB never asked if I was sure. The wrong measurements were my fault, but I think the tailor should have asked whether I was sure and given me some detail on why they were querying me.

Also, I feel BB build up the shoulders too much, so you may want to ask for less padding than their standard amount.

    Ah, that's a shame Aussie.

I took measurements again and again and at different times of the day to get an average. Hopefully it'll be fine.

I shal take pictures when I get it. Feb time.
