Anybody reccommend the Navy Sunspel Long Sleeve Polo?

I just received my Sunspel Riviera "Bond" Polos and T-Shirts. To be honest I was worried about the fit but they couldnt be more perfect and I love the material of both.

Anyhow anybody reccommend the Long Sleeve Polo ala Casino Royale?? I know its a diff material then the Riviera etc.

Also how close is the Navy to Bonds in real life?

I notice this is in their 30% sale and they mention it is due to clearing these lines for new products hence I believe this may be the last chance to purchase the long sleeve Navy polo.

I also tempted by their Black Pique shirt, looks very comfy and reminds me a bit of the Ocean Club shirt although diff style

    Got the black pique in early summer (before I found an Alfani).

    Lovely, comfortable shirt. Just like all the Sunspel stuff I have.

    Can't comment on the long sleeved polo, though.

    Cool - def gonna get the Black pique, does look very comfy indeed and im a big fan of black shirts!!

    The long sleeve polo shirts are very good quality as you would expect from Sunspel. They are light cotton and quite a tailored fit, no vents and a 2-button collar.

    I have the long sleeve & the short sleeve versions, the only thing I would say lets them down is the lack of vents.

    If you're tempted with the pique shirt I'd recommend getting a size up from what you usually wear.

    Also look at the John Smedley merino wool long sleeved polo. They are superb. Very similar quality, sizing and cut, and usually available on ebay.
    Dont wait for your ship to come in. Swim out and meet the bloody thing.

    Cheers for the info, held off on Polo as not 100% sure I like it. Went for the Pique shirt and some black riveria Ts!!

    When I say they're like no other shirt you will see, I mean the fact that they are made from pique cotton which is quite unusual, and gives the shirt the perfect smart/casual look especially for a warm evening out.

    I guess your on about a general Sunspel polo?

    The Bond Polo (Riviera) is not part of the sale it seems

    I had just placed my order when they reduced items for a second time. If I had known I would have waited and then added a few other items ?:)

    I see last year they had a 50% sale off everything, I can only wish it happens again :D
