My first car...

So... There is a moment in the life of every man, where one has to chose a car. I'am 19, and I want to buy something "Bondish". I have 1000 euros to spent, and I have a few cars to consider, but maybe you would help me better.
So: my first thought was the Mercedes-Benz 190E. Nice car, nice looking, not very expensive, but in no way connected with 007 :/ So on the other hand I found the Ford Mondeo MK1, which could be possibly driven by Bond if Casino Royale would be done in the mid 90'... Any other ideas?

from my experience, the Mondeo I was a crap car, even when it has been new.

A friend of mine has a Merc 190E, he's the original owner and the car has 400.000kms.
He has several new Mercedes, but he refuses to sell the 190E.

So my advise: Go for the Merc, make sure, that it has not been modified and has been possibly in the possession of a senior citizen (Rentner).

Yeah, and the best option would be to buy one in Deutschland because Germans take care of these cars in comparison to Polish people (if you don't know, I live in Poland currently...). Anyway - I've heard many good things about the Merc, BUT Bond would not go Mercedes. Bond goes Ford and Sony ^^

My first car was a 1966 Ford Mustang I salvaged from the junkyard. That was a long time ago. These days I drive an Audi A6 for weekdays and a Porsche Boxster for weekend fun. My experience has been that German cars rule!!! Great fun and truely reliable.

The Merc is a great choice if everything runs smoothly. Maintenance would be a killer, though ...

Mk1 Mondeo was a crap car. But it shouldn't cost too much to maintain, I wouldn't think.
