I'm sure some members may be interested in this car , the James Bond Aston Martin from Goldfinger by SCALEXTRIC
... I just couldn't resist & had to purchased 2 of these.
love the artwork on the inside of the box, nice touch that.
actually its quite surprising at how much detail scalextrix are getting into their cars these days. i saw an AM works dbr9 the other day and the level of detail was stunning, even down to the interior and dirty oily finish on the outside.
Love this Model .. i think its one of the best Scalextric toys I have seen
its an update of the rare and famous old 60's Bond DB5 / DB4 GT with working features
very nice... would be cool to get that DB5 and new updated Merc as the bad guy chase car, get the old track lay out and a repro box of the 60s set and there you have an updated version of the 60s Bond Scalextric which cost's JEEZ !!! Thousands of ££££
When I was younger I had a big Scalextric track all set up, used to have tournaments after school with friends, Mini Cooper racing, Mighty Metros, F1's etc Happy Days !!! the Joys of being a kid
Sadly I am older now and dont have the time
I do like this model but no point in buying it to put in a display case, as it has to be raced to be enjoyed

That's why I had to get 2 of these ... one to put into the cabinet, and one to run on the track.
Scalextric have made some nice working features on this car . The bullet proof sheild pops up, and you can shoot the "baddie" out through the roof just like on the original .... :007)

Totally agree. Scalextric have done a very nice job on the artwork, and the detail of their cars is starting to get very good.
This will be the second release (due in 2011) of 3 limited edition James Bond cars by Scalextric .... the Aston Martin DB5 from Casino Royal.
The 3rd of the 3 limited edition cars , to be released in 2012, will be the Aston Marton DB5 used in Goldeneye ... I can't find a nice image of this one though.
That is awesome! I still need to get my a QoS-set and/or racetrack, and the Carrera DB5 and Vanq. PRoblem is, like said above, I find it a shame when you don't drive the cars and I've only got the Carrera GO DAD-set...
