    Update;

    after taking over 140,000 hits and attracting a bid of £94k, ebay decided to pull the sale of said harrier as it 'contreviened our strict rules on the sales of military weaponry'.

    Chris Wilson of Jet Art Aviation, the seller of the airframe said, and i love this bit, "its not capable of 'delivering weapons', its not even capable of delivering a pizza".

    Who in their right mind at ebay decided that an empty airframe could be used to deliver weapons? Or in fact, that the RAF would sell an airframe with weapon systems still on board?

    Crazy crazy world......

    Good to see eBay on the ball. You can flog any piece of forged and counterfeit rubbish imaginable. All the experts in the world can tell you that Daniel Craig really doesn't spell his name "Kregg" when he signs autographs or that Gucci is spelled with two 'c's and not a 'ch', and still eBay do nothing. But sell something perfectly legal and they'll clamp down on you quicker that you can say VSTOL.
