CR Converse Shoes

This may be an odd question but does any member own a pair of the Jack Purcell OTR Chocolate/Paprika shoes worn in CR? I was just wondering if they could post what color the rubber sides and toe cap actually are. From all the images from the internet they look anywhere from black to dark grey to dark brown. The description is Chocolate/Paprika but if the chocolate is supposed to be the color of the rubber areas it certainly does not appear that way in the photos - it looks more black or dark grey to me. Being a graphic designer I know that color on the internet can be deceiving - even black can have a reddish hue or blueish hue depending on the lighting and the way it's reproduced. I thought this might be of some interest to other members as this also applies to any attire from the films.

I can't help but if anyone knows if these Shoes are still available I'd be very interested. They pop up on eBay every now and then but that's about it.

LOL...not at all...bought them a bit after CR came out when they were still plentiful...I think it was ebay or some shop online...you could swing a cat and hit 30 of them back then.

Thanks for the pic and the clarification on the shoe color. Good luck to all in your quest to get a pair...I would need a 10.5 or 11 US size and those are extinct.

Not sure about those shoes - think they are leather chukkas?

Will have to watch again, believe you get a good shot when he bends down to do his shoe laces on arrival at the Ocean Club

My bad, I meant his shoes worn when he gets out of the helicopter to meet M, and the shoes he wears in the evening when he wins the Aston Martin.

If I am not completely wrong they were bot John Lobb chukka boots.

I believe they are the John Lobb "Romsey" model chukka boots in "tobacco suede calf", similar to the Church's Ryder III he wears in QoS.
