Hi Guys
I have for sale a very limited edition reproduction of the iconic poster seen when Bond and Pussy are walking out of the hangar after landing in Kentucky in the movie Goldfinger. I don't believe that this poster has been reproduced before due to nobody ever managing to find completely the right text. I have now found an image of that poster with the text clearly shown. This poster is not a copy of that but a brand new full reproduction done by myself. It is printed on heavyweight card stock in A2 size (420mm x 594mm, 16.5 ins x 23.4 ins).
This limited edition is hand signed by the lady herself, Ms Honor Blackman. The posters were signed in my presence at the Bondstars Christmas Party, Pinewood Studios on 14th November 2010. I have enclosed photographs of the posters being signed and also of Ms Blackman graciously accepting a gift of a framed A3 version of the same poster. A more engaging and generous lady you could never hope to meet.
This large size poster has been printed in a limited edition of 13. Actually I had fifteen printed but only 13 were signed due to a couple sticking together during the signing session, I am an idiot. The signed posters are numbered 001/015 through 013/015, as no doubt it is unlucky to have a run of 13. 10, inc the 2 unsigned ones of these have already been sold via private emailing. That leaves 5 to go out to you guys, so I wasn't kidding when I said it was a limited edition. They are also on a first come first sold basis, there will be no more of the A2s.
ALL proceeds from this very limited opportunity will be donated to a British Military charity 'Help for Heroes' http://helpforheroes.org.uk/ . I spent over twenty years in the service of my country and more recently, as a civilian, have been working in Iraq and Afghanistan for a considerable amount of time. For those collectors outside the UK, we have no VA, no dedicated military hospitals. Soldiers, Sailors and Airmen's care immediately after being injured is first class but their longer term care is woefully under funded and inadequate. By ALL proceeds I mean the whole £75, I will make nothing from these at all, this due to my passion for this cause and also a promise I made to Ms Blackman which led to her generously signing them.
I therefore make no apology for the cost of these posters and aim to raise over £1000 for Help For Heroes. I will of course write to each of you who purchases one of these posters with a copy of the final donation receipt and know that the thanks of a wounded hero go with it. In fact the purchaser of two of these posters has already insisted on paying £100 each, purely due to the cause being raised for and I am very grateful to him for this generous donation.
