Casino Royale tux shirt alternatives?

Has anyone found any alternatives, besides Magnoli, for the fly front tuxedo shirt from CR? I have a black tie party which I will be attending in a few weeks and would love to sport it along with my peak lapel dinner jacket. Thanks

Check out this thread (specifically posts #49 and 50) - http://www.ajb007.co.uk/topic/35175/007-ties-back-in-stock-at-t-a/

(I'm assuming you are asking for alternatives if you believe the Turnbull shirt is no longer available.)

    Kind regards,

I bought one of these: http://www.clermontdirect.com/cotton-front-marcella-fold-down-collar-shirt-p-160.html

a few months ago, & for the price, you really can't do any better. It's a great quality 100% cotton shirt that has several of the details from the T&A CR one. The only thing I would suggest is getting it tailored, as it fits quite baggy. But nevertheless, it's the perfect shirt for a Bond on a Budget!

Just to add to the alternatives, I bought one of these from Budd Shirtmakers twelve years ago and still love it. Couldn't be more comfortable You have to keep your jacket on, but no way I'd wear a fully piqued shirt. No covered placket but I'm not a fan of that anyway. I think I payed around $140 for it then, no idea how much it would be now.

T&A made on like this also. Tom Cruise wore theirs in the first scenes of Mission Impossible(not the PTS).

This is great, Gents. Keep em coming! :)-{ I like the Clemont Direct one but not sure if they ship to the states. Seeing that I live in NY, maybe I'll just head on down to Turnbul on Monday and go get the real McCoy.

Keep posting any more budget alternatives on this thread. Seems like the fly front style is fairly hard to find.

Thomas Pink offer a tux shirt that's similar to the T&A one -

    - complete with the hidden placket and double cuff, but, having this one and the genuine, I still recommending plurging on the real deal from Turnbull and Asser. There's just a different feeling knowing you're wearing the real thing.

Wouldn't the quality be the same? Afterall, it IS the same company.

Turnbull and Asser and Pink are two different companies.
T and A was founded in 1885 and Pink in 1984.
In 1999 Pink sold their majority share to LVMH. (Moët Hennessy, Louis Vuitton)

I might have misunderstood you... Of course Turnbull and Asser New York is the same company as T and A in London if that is what you meant.
I own the original T and A casino royale shirt and it is the best shirt i own.
