Are you kidding? I most certainly do. However, I favor the U.S. one sheets to any other style. I have at least one original U.S. one sheet from every Bond movie as well as one of the Moonraker "one stops" that was supposed to be cut into two one sheets and a set of lobby cards by the theater owner. It's the one that has two Moore gun next to face poses (aping Connery's pose with the LP-53) and it is uncut. I think it's the more desiarable of the two "one stops" called the "advance one stop". I also have some odd foreign Bond posters as well as some product tie in Bond posters. I've been slowly posting pictures of my collection here as time permits.

I'm going to start seriously collecting again one of these days. I only have a few reprints. A Thunderball that I need to check if it's a reprint or reissue. Also, I have a Goldeneye teaser framed. Not sure if it's original or not. I think I received it from a theater or special offer at the time of release.

    Cool, DG.
I know which poster you refer to - it's impressive when fully opened!
Without posting your images again, do you have a link to the relevant section on here so I can see them?

SilentSpy, do you have an image of the Thunderball poster?
Someone here will almost certainly be able to tell you what it is.
Oh, and yes, you must start collecting again! :))

When a new movie is released I collect the main posters, the double sideds and the quads. Besides that, only product placement ones... Omega, Bollinger etc. Hence I love the TLD promo posters you posted earlier !

Certainly is. Of all the door pannels for the Connery era, I think the Goldfinger door pannels are the best. The one with Connery is probably the most sought after, but the complete set would be dynamite! I could have had a Thunderball door pannel set for relatively little money at one time, but passed. It was sold and later turned up at auction for a princely sum! Another one that got away!

So far I've posted only up to Casino Royale. My main computer sh*t the bed again, so it will probably be another week or so before I post any more pictures. Here are the links so far:

Yes it is the lesser known UK Goldfinger Double Crown, only previously seen on the back of the UK campaign book, amazing 60's colours. Only the "James" Goldfinger door panel although the set currently for sale in the US are on my shopping list when I win the lottery..lol
  • AdamCarterJonesAdamCarterJones UKPosts: 303MI6 Agent
Yeah, those Door Panels are on CineMasterpieces ...
I've only bought from him once on ebay years ago, but he's a good guy.
And he is able to command those prices due to his clientèle.
Call him the 'Tony Nourmand' of the USA - I do! Ha! It's true though when you think about it!

Well, if you ever wish to get rid of your BSA poster you know where I am - wink wink, nudge nudge! :))

Oh, and the TB Advance Quad is quite something up close, in my opinion.
Is yours framed? Linenbacked? Can't really tell from the picture! :s

All posters linen backed & framed. Tball advance quad I've had for about 17 years & was the most expensive purchase at the time for £1500...ouch! BSA poster took years to track down. Was found on the back wall of a classic motorcycles dealer in the US. Needed a clean & linen backing to bring it back to its former glory oh & it cost more than some of the classic motorcycles of that time sell for...more ouch!

I have the Thunderball rolled in a tube with some other posters with acid free paper in between each one. I stopped collecting when I became concerned about reprints. Changed my focus to lithographs and prints for the time. I'll check it out one of these days and put up an image. But I'm fairly sure the poster says reprint on one of the bottom corners. I doubt it says reissue. But I picked it up in the late 90s.

I have a ton of Bond posters, but you know what....they were all $5 or less! :)

I don't have a problem at all spending money on my Bond collection, but I got B-U-R-N-E-D back about 15 years ago on a "authentic" poster (BS!).

After that....I swore that on items like this that I would just go for what I liked and saved a ton of headaches and money. I have each film framed in the media room and couldn't be happier. :))

I would love to have an authentic Live and Let Die or a few others from the Moore era, but dang...ya know once you jump in the pool and hit your head on the diving board you are ALWAYS gonna be a little hesitant to do it again!

Wish my BSA poster looked that good - but at least I didn't have to pay anything like you did - gratis, from the manager of the cinema where I first saw it 45 years (or so ) ago.

Not much of one, all I have is the Casino Royale double sided poster and a Japanese version with him holding up his suppressed P99.
Away at Boot Camp, won't be back until April the earliest.

British OHMSS Double Crown quad poster

There is a great deal of BS on certain specialst poster sites regarding the right side of this poster as George Lazenby was only going to appear in one movie so his image would not be displayed on the poster campaign but as you can clearly see the two halves join together to form a quad featuring Mr Lazenby although they were mainly utilised on the advertising panels either side of the central panel where a bus stops at on a London bus. The advertising campaign was fully developed to include Mr Lazenby & believe me guys some of the concept images featuring Mr Lazenby armed with a Walther LP53 are just amazing!

    I like!!!
Don't tell me you have concept art as well!? :s

Monza, I had a feeling it may have been that one you were talking about.
It's amazing how blue his eye is - I think it harms the essence of the poster.

My poster is actually considerably darker, he's almost a silhouette. That's why I like it, because he's like blending in with the background and being sneaky. His eyes don't show through as blue in the poster.
