If you had $1,000 to spend on Bond items....

What would it be? One big ticket item or multiple items to fill in the walls or cabinets?

Me? I have no clue....probably try and pick up a bunch of the Swatch watches. I have always had it bad for watches and jackets....I don't know why, but those Swatch watches are really cool....I wouldn't wear one on a regular basis, but I would like to have a few of them that is for sure.

I'd probably spend it on several different items, as opposed to just one major purchase. Just off the top of my head:

    -7 For All Mankind jeans
-Church's Ryder III desert chukka boots
    -Sunspel polos
    -Tom Ford ties
    -Tom Ford 108 19V sunglasses
-Turnbull & Asser Casino Royale Evening Shirt

I'm sure that all of this added up is well over $1000, but the purchases I would make would be selections from this list.

That's more Bondish to me than Swatch watches. If you really want a watch, perhaps a Seiko?

I already own a Rolex GMT Master II Date Model 16710....so the watches are just something that I like the "art" behind them. I would say that the Rolex is Bondish enough. :p

I'd buy some rare, mint toys from the 60's and 70's. And therefore run out of that $1.000,- fairly quickly...

    Yes, something like this:

I would love to have this, especially the one in the auction with its superb box. But honestly, even if someone gave me $1000, I wouldn't pay that much money for this.

    Thats easy:

    - Church Ryder 3's
    - Sunspel polos
    - Magnoli Quantum jacket

Thats pretty much the $1000 right there.

Exactly ! Probably the best condition you'll ever find this in...but still not worth $ 999,-

I would go with something similar to this.

Sunspel Polos are pricey for a polo but really are superb!!! I also love the grey Riveira T-Shirt they do!!

I would also go for a pair of 7 Mankinds or Sta Prests.

Chukkas are pricey but look great (im waiting for mine to arrive still)

You prob wont have much change left but I would go for a pair of TF sunglasses or Persols and if you can stretch it a jacket (Magnoli replica Quantum springs to mind)

Buy Ed one of this harpoon :)

Or perhaps the Nick Nack gun.

Definitely some TF ties, or at least the Tobacco Vanille perfume. Best perfume ever. Better than Hermès from miles.

For my scarf, I think you would have to decide if you really like to Rolex or if you'd prefer the scarf ;)

Seriously, it's very very good. It's NOT your usual drug store perfume. It's a very particular smell, but if you like it, you can't live without it.

Ask Manthis, if I remember well, he likes it too, but maybe I'm confused.

    Daniel Craig wore/wears it.

Personally I find the Tobacco Vanille too sweet. I understand that DC wore it on set, but if you are interested in buying TF also try his Tuscan Leather. It's individual, exquisite, and far more Bondesque, in my humble opinion.

I'd take the Mantis to a bar (not sure if hookers will be involved - depends on how much he can take) get him drunk and get him talk about Ed's security system..... :D

Hookers will HAVE to be involved, if I am going to spill about Ed's triple security system...feasible though.

it depends on what you drink and how much it'll take to get you "singing".

As an example, if I have to order pink champagne :D or Cosmopolitans for you, that can take long and be very expensive!
    The budget per definition is 1000 bucks, so you'd rather spill fast or - sorry to say that - no-no on the hooker thing! -{

It depends on what you already own. Both series of Bond Swatches were a missed opportunity to me. I only picked up the OHMSS Swatch and rarely wear it.

I would probably put the money in my DB5 or original Bond posters fund as right now I think I have all the Bond items I need.
