Tragedy at DOC

Dear all friend and colleague at Ajb.

I am writing this thread just to explain why I am not online so much lately and in the near future.
Monday morning Chleve (Oddjob at DOC) didn’t wake up next to his wife (age 40). This has naturally been a real chock for all DOC members and we had a meeting Monday night to talk about old memories and ask questions to each other. It is no secret that Chleve had experienced a long depressing and had back problems. I could suspect that a combination of painkillers and antidepressant may have caused his death but the autopsy will tell.

I know it may be odd to tell you guys, but I feel many of you have become friends of DOC in the world of Bond.

Here some photos of our Oddy the buddy

Ian, mate, I'm so sorry to hear this terrible news.

I'd like to extend my most heartfelt condolances to yourself and Chleve's family. It's at times like this that no-one can really say anything that really makes a difference, or makes things easier. My only advice I can offer is remember the good times you had with your friend, and understand that I'm sure he wouldn't want you and his other friends to mourn for too long.

The door is ALWAYS open Ian, I hope you get back on your feet soon mate,

My condolences, most heartfelt. Losing a friend is difficult...find solace in the fact that he is a part of everyone that continues. I am sure his personality and influence can be found in the faces and hearts of his family members and friends...

Let me add my condolenes to those already sent. I too know the pain of losing a good friend-but the good memories must remain and while he will surely be missed, remember him as he was. My thoughts are with the members of DOC and his family.

    Hi Ian,

I can't imagine how you are all feeling at the moment, and I won't pretend to try. Loosing anyone we care about is the worst thing that can happen in life, and you, all of DOC and Chleve's family have my condolences too. - We are scattered everywhere in this community, but I hope that our support brings you some comfort. The pics of you as a group (above and on the DOC site) show how much fun you all have, not just with Bond, but with each other as friends. I am truly sorry you have lost one of your own, and everything that he brought to your lives.

    Andy.

Thanks for all the thought - thanks… I will just quickly tell that his body is not released yet from “the corner” so we don’t know when the funeral is or the cause of death. His widow is very very depressed and Jaws/Henrik was called to stay with here the other night she was drunk… she asked to have a hug from a worm body/Henrik and then the dog starting barking… he then shouted – Chleve I am doing it for you – and it stopped…” there is more between sky and earth” (Danish saying)…She want us to have all his Bond items, and we really don’t know if we would accept.
We will have a DOC meeting tonight (as always the first Monday in the month) and we will watch GE as it was Chleves favourite Bond movie (imagine that lol)…

ke02eww no problem posting the links :)
