I just went MENTAL with my web host!

Right,

I am so annoyed at the moment!

The email forwarding system I use for the website was set up so that I did not go over my email quota provided by my web host.
I was told on more than one occasion this had been sorted out and everything was working.

However, I was not receiving a single email from the 'Contact Us' form.
I just assumed nobody was interested in contacting me via the website.
Fair enough, I thought.

Well now, how wrong was I!?
After a friend emailed me late on Saturday, March 5th, 2011 via the 'Contact Us' form on the website, and then via another internet forum to tell me they had done so, I decided to take matters into my own hands. I have spent the best part of my night researching and learning what has been going wrong.

Those responsible for sorting my email forwarding and website contact addresses did NOT do their job. X-(
I have since been in touch with these people and have cancelled my contract with them with immediate effect.

If you want something done properly, do it yourself (as the saying goes). X-(
And that is exactly what I have done.

I have set up the website email addresses myself and corrected everything that they said they had done, but didn't.
The 'Contact Us' form now works!

I understand from what I have seen that I have been contacted ever since I first added the 'Contact Us' form.
I have sifted through hundreds of emails and I feel terrible for not replying to those people.
The worst thing is that it wasn't my fault.

I almost always reply instantly to emails pertaining to the website, if not within 24 hours at the latest.

ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH !!!!!!!!!

I'M SO ANNOYED !!!!!!!!!!

Sorry, rant over.
Best wishes,
Adam Carter-Jones

'Twas a good job that I was over cautious then. ;)

If you're able to, you should do it yourself, that's for sure.
If you can't trust a Swiss banker, what's the world come to?
