The Newest James Bond Movie

So I'm sitting around watching some classic Connery and thinking about how far the franchise has strayed away from what it used to be. Looking back on things like "out of these wet clothes and into a dry martini," into now where Craigs Bond says hardly anything at all. So I say more for my own satisfaction than anything, allow me to cast my very own James Bond movie without re-using any actors already involved. Mind you, I'm thinking actors from today not from the past.
Bear with me as some of these choices seem outlandish, but as there are no American actors who aren't ever so fey anymore, these actors and choices will seem different.

James Bond- Hugh Jackman (Bond needs swagger and action, and Jackman has both.)
Q- ( regardless of hollywood, Bond needs a Q) Hugh Laurie
M- David McCallum (why not?)
Felix Leiter-
Now we need a couple of bad guys- Lets say... Christoph Waltz and Jason Statham
And a Bond girl..... Maybe Olivia Wilde??

I dont know. All of these are top of my head but I'll think of better people later im sure

Not bad! I particularly like the idea of Waltz or Statham as the villain.

Yeah, and a proper gunbarrel, decent title song, go back to Bondian basics without going too much back eg. woman covered in oil

Im sure the films of today appeal to a younger audience but IMO, and I'm 24 for the record, the younger generation today are mostly idiots. I cant go anywhere without seeing some scrawny boy with a woman haircut and skin tight jeans, or a girl that tries so hard to be pale. Its all polluted by vampire love movies and stupidity. Idk what happened to ppl wanting to know about sophistication or suave-ness, but the movies now definetly lack that touch of class, instead opting for an in-your-face, all out action-packed movie where there are so many camera cuts I cant tell whats happening half the time.
But I digress, sorry for the rant. Also the Bond girl needs an o-so- clever name. Still working on Felix but I'm sure something will come to me.

I think a gentle nudge back to a more traditional Outing next time would be nice. I'm a believer in evolution rather than revolution.

Well I'll give you this old boy, I do agree with David McCallum playing either Q or M, but I do not fully understand your decision of Hugh Jackman as James Bond. Perhaps you could enlighten me as to why?

Well heres what I think: As I stated, most American actors are far too odd to play a Bond, and there are only a handful left who can be physical and still hold some type of swagger and sophistication to play James Bond ala Connery style. Who would you suggest? I do believe he would make a great Bond...

I've got it!! Felix is played by Josh Brolin

The only way an American actor would work for me is if he is a relatively unknown actor, and if he has a convincing British accent (along with the requisite "swagger and sophistication", of course!)

If the guy looks like Bond can do a British accent then I'd be happy.I don't have a problem with an american actor in the role. After all now Superman and Batman even spiderman are all British.
