    Got my Moonraker Half-Sheet Poster signed by Richard Kiel today! It's in pretty good shape, a few staple holes, but not noticeable unless you are close up and in that case, I think it gives it some character. Picture below of Mr. Kiel signing it. I took it to the store to get it custom matted and framed after the convention. Will post pics when I get it back in two weeks!

    The Creative Partnership created the international one sheet and teaser designs for 1997's Tomorrow Never Dies however here is an almost unseen before concept design featuring Calver's Stealth Boat & 3 rarely seen publicity images of the principal actors. IMO far superior to the almost neutral selected international design. My photography does not do this concept poster justice. It is simply stunning in the flesh! -{

    Very cool!
    May I add this on the reference website?

    Well I couldn't resist this -{
    Lot#204 in Christies 30th October poster auction: British Double Crown for 1963's classic From Russia with Love. As with the main Quad the art is believed to be by Renato Fratini. The poster shares the same colours as the quad with Mr Bond himself appearing a little greyer. The only one I have personally seen outside of the black & white illustration on the back of the UK Exhibitor's Campaign Book. In a perfect world I'd also have liked to have secured the Dr.No Double Crown but @ £8k a little too steep for my pocket!

    Alright well I took my Moonraker poster signed by Richard Kiel to get framed and it was in the waiting facility when I saw the opportunity on BondStars to have your specialty item signed by Roger Moore.

    Couldn't pass up the chance! I sent the poster across the pond in early October. It was signed by Roger Moore on October 31st (verified by the Certificate of Authenticity provided by BondStars).

    They sent back the poster in mid November and after sitting in customs for a few days, the box it was shipped in arrived at my doorstep. With great excitement I opened the package tonight and below are the results!

    Now I'm taking it back to the frame shop to get this beauty the proper display it deserves.

    Major thanks to BondStars for providing this private signing and on top of it, the very professional customer support. They are very quick with replies and keep you updated with the status of your items. Huge recommendation for anyone looking into their services.

    A variation on the original 1962 Dr.No Mitchell Hooks "The Most Famous Gentleman Spy in all Fiction" art work utilised for the US market, this being the US window card which incorporates the now famous "7" pistol based logo -{

    A variation on the incredible 1965 Frank McCarthy and Robert McGinnis Thunderball campaign art which is missing the "Look Out" McGinnis painted panel featured on the UK quad and US subway posters, this being the US window card which features additional McGinnis Connery art which appears on the US half sheet, 6 sheet, subway and door panel posters -{

    It's interesting to see the subtle variations on the Dr. No card to the original 1 sheet, especially on the drawings of the 4 women and Bond.

    1969 US Window card incorporating art by both Frank McCarthy & Robert McGinnis.
    McCarthy was commissioned for the "Far Up!, Far Out!, Far More!" campaign creating a stunning image of a snowscape, lots of action & a shirtless Mr Lazenby with a Walther LP53 in one hand and Diana Rigg as Tracy in the other. The likeness Mr McCarthy created of Mr Lazenby was exceptional however it was decided to change the appearance of the two central characters and that was left to Robert McGinnis who painted a more traditional James Bond in tux on skies -{

    That has to be one of my favourite images, I think it is because as a kid I only got to see it on the big screen once, back then the poster art was a big attraction to me as id stand and stare while in the queue :))

    Nice one Donk -{

    First off these are not mine regrettably :(
    These incredible images were created for 1967's You Only Live Twice publicity campaign and were utilised on these the US door panel posters which are considered to be the Holy Grails for Bond movie poster collectors. The Sean Connery panel was originally painted by Robert McGinnis.
    During all my decades of collecting, this collector has only seen one set for sale at a JBIFC event when such items went for low hundreds instead of tens of thousands of Dollars.

    If anyone has any one of the four for sale?...a pm would be very much appreciated -{

    A rare find in Thunderball's 50th Anniversary year: 3 down, 1 to go :D

    An original 1965 US no#1 "Look Up" door panel for Thunderball featuring Ms France herself Claudine Auger although page 76 of Dorling Kindersley's James Bond 50 years of movie posters by Alastair Dougall would have you believe incorrectly as an "unknown model". They then went to shoot themselves in the foot further by suggesting the "Look Down" Martine Beswick panel was in fact Ms Auger...oh dear! :s
