    This item has now sold. Thanks

    I had agreed a price and had a written confirmation from this guy confirming acceptance, he even sent photographs, I was just waiting for the paypal request, despite this he's now decided to sell it to someone else!

    Surely if people are going to use the site for the sale of their personal items this sort of thing shouldn't be tolerated?!

    Please not another thread decending into acrimony...

    I think there has been a muddle up here....

    Please wait for further info before piling on...

    Anyone....!

    Cheers

    PM received "Ok, it's yours for £XXX.  Can you give me a postal address and your email address so I can send a paypal request accordingly?"

    Where's the muddle?!

    at the end of the day, if you are selling something and you have several people "interested", would you or would you not take the first concrete offer for a decent price? i know i would; and for the record yes, i was interested in this item too so i don't see what the issue is. yes, i was a bit narked when i saw the post saying it had sold but **** happens. we move on! these items tend to be sold on the forum on a first come first serve basis

    If I had something for sale and had agreed to sell it to someone, I would sell it to that person, not someone that jumped in with more money -{ just my 2 pence :p

    My reply yesterday was a genuine attempt to give jimbobond36 the benefit of the doubt.

    It's only a hunch but my guess is he's muddled up the replies to his TWO threads.

    Yes anyone noticed this?
    http://www.ajb007.co.uk/topic/36424/fe-golden-gun-spare-part-for-sale/

    I replied to this thread by pm and as far as I'm concerned have bgt it.

    He later sent me an email with the details of the sd wristgun purchase that he Tgt I'd agreed to...

    I replied as quick as i could but I've heard nothing from him.

    Then I saw this thread get "smokey" and I tried to calm things before the seemingly inevitable "pile on"....

    I already own 3 wrist guns in various states of wear and order ...u can be sure I have no interest in another one!!!!

    So.....

    I get home and find this...

    That's exactly what I've done.  Apologies.  Stressful day yesterday.  Yes fine on the FE GG spare part.  Did you want me to take any photo's before sending?
    James

    I strongly suggest those of you that feel you may have jumped the gun
    ( oops....couldn't resist ...) apologise publicly to jimbobond36. -{-{

    Btw if anyone was worried that I might have behaved improperly , relax, I can take it... :p

    D jaq off I didn't buy it!!!!

    There was a genuine mix up....

    And once again an innocent guy got slimed on here....

    I think you owe him an apology bro...

    And the only karma I think this thread conveys belongs in a Boy George song ... ;)

    Hey I like Boy George, Im sorry to Jimbo for the mix up, but I would have said it on anyone's thread in the same situation, I have nothing against Jimbo at all and he knows that, I am just stating what I am like and what I feel is right, maybe I'm to blunt ? :D

    You didn't buy it :s like i said I didn't know 8-) :D it was you answering to me that has confused things -{

    My apologies to everyone for opening up this can of worms, although it's exposed some Interesting attitudes to an agreed contract of sale.

    BUT, it does appear that Jimbo is NOT guilty as charged and there has been a mix up, it was a knee jerk reaction on my part, so my apologies to him personally for the "sliming", but in my defence and based on the information I had at the time, including the non-response to a PM I knew he had opened I stand by my original reasoning for the post.
