Cheers All,
Following a blitz of activity to get the OHMSSDBS camera ready for application deadline to Pebble Beach "the Quail" concours, here are some shots of our glovebox, complete with Quartermaster "Scaramangasgoldengun" tour de force AR7 stock, and weapons tray. I made, as you well know from previous threads, the silencer, and again I thank all of you who contributed your ideas to the project.
Interesting that the larger, fabricated glovebox is virtually udetectable, unless you happen to have another DBS handy to compare. Even then, ours follows the lines of the interior so well, one may never notice...
Screws for the scope are missing, and will arrive later. Lighting was interesting to do- used may variations until the film seen lighting was achieved. Sorry you can't tell from the poor quality pics.
We have a profl photographer coming over soon, and I will share thos pics as they become available.
Hope you all enjoy, and thank you all again for all the support and kind help during the past 2.5 year project.
She does not run yet, and we are still waiting for seats, but soon, young Jedi. patience you must have...

Most impressive. Also, Mick's AR-7 stock looks great in there!!!
Certainly the whole "prop" is a Tour de Force.
Well done to all.

Thanks for all the replies and PMs!
Today was a relatively clear day in San Francisco, so we rolled out the DBS, though not completed yet, for some progress photos. Here are 3 daylight pics...hope you enjoy!
The GKX 8G plate is not yet installed, nor are the front seats, A-pillar trims, distributor, back window trims, and a host of other bits.
A great project from the start, and these things CAN be done by the layman. To answer some questions: No, I am not independently wealthy, just good at gathering sponsors, and doing most of the work myself. Of course, this project would be nowhere without the help of Waterfront Automobili and Sal Garcia, the "Ferrari Dr." There are many ways to obtain and restore a classic James Bond car. A car like this can be a money maker for sponsors, with PR appearances, wedding rentals, etc.
I have been in contact with several companies who are interested in using the car at their events. One in particular wants to have the car as a centrepiece inside a hotel lobby. Roped off, of course. All it takes is a great deal of networking, and getting your first sponsor. It is as much work to get sponsors as it is to restore the car!
Enjoy the photos...more on the way!
