Hi there guys,

Does anyone know where I can get, or does anyone have the font that is used for the Greene Planet logo from QoS?

I have a font called Neuropol which is almost identical. The G is different, but everything else looks the same to me.

Thanks minigeff - I'm always looking for new fonts!

After a little digging I also found info on the other fonts used in the film.

Looks like they were all custom made - apart from the Quantum title - which is Neutraface (however, I'm not sure that is a free font....) and the Q has been slightly tweaked.

Anyway, here is this info - I'm going to contact the website and see if these are available... http://www.flickr.com/photos/matthamm/sets/72157609339642833/detail/

    Update....

Just spoke to a super nice bloke at Tomato.co.uk - who desinged these fonts - (some were adapted....) anyway, he is willing to answer any questions - I have quite a bit of info on what fonts were used (or rather based on) - does anyone have any specific questions about these? If you do, then either PM me, or reply here, and I will email him with them... then post the answers here for people to read.

The typeface on the Port au Prince screenshot at that link seems to be different to the version in the finished film! I think I like it better than the final version....

Talking of fonts, I would like to find the Tom Ford font.

But I don't know which one is best, and how to get them free.

In lieu of my reply in the other tread, Bruno I think the man has a point and an answer would help defuse the situation.

I want to have a stationary set made and I will use the Tom Ford font for part of it.

One word: Interesting! (Another good choice of word would be: Illegal!)...

well it looks like it's the Proxima Nova font - and it's not free.

However, you can buy 1 version of this (depending on which style you want) for $29 just click here - which considering you are going to use it for stationary - and you like to indulge your ladies with Hermes stirrups, surely you can afford the $30 odd bucks and then you won't be doing anything illegal.

The other option is looking for 'proxima Nova font free' - but you will prob be taken to a site where you are breaking the law, and I'm not going to advise that.

I've been looking around, and from a suggested site that a friend mentioned to me, I found the Aston Martin font is 'Optima Roman'. Again, like the affore mentioned Tom Ford font, its not free, but I found it here for £35.70, which isn't too bad I thought.

Stationary... really? Also useful to make labels and tie boxes perhaps for a new series uniquely priced of "one of a kind" and "last of the line" items?

The "charity fundraiser" text looks like a dead ringer for the "Perpetua Titling MT" font. Best of all, it's included with MS Word.
