Tom Ford Suit and shirt(QoS)..

Hi guys,

Glad to be here, hope everyone is doing fine!

All right, here's the situation and the question:

I have a friend who is going to supply me with a Tom Ford suit, shirt and tie from one of the TF shops in the US.
So I would like to ask if anyone could help me out with information about the clothes worn @ the Greene Planet Party in Quantum of Solace. I am asking because I've had little luck finding much information about them on the internet(a little about the suit and tie, nothing about the shirt).

Also, does anyone know which shoes he uses while wearing this suit?

Help much appreciated, and thank you for your time!

This blog entry is a good place to start: http://bondclothes.blogspot.com/2010/10/lets-take-break-from-1960s-and-take.html

Here's all of the info that I can think of:

    Suit:
    Tom Ford "Regency" model
midnight blue mohair tonic (mohair & cashmere blend?)
    single-breasted
    notch lapels
    3-roll-2 button closure
    double-vented
    5-button surgeon's cuffs
    straight, flapped pockets
    ticket pocket
side adjusters on the pants instead of belt loops
    cuffs on the pants

    Shirt:
    white cotton poplin
    spread collar
    French cuffs
    no chest pocket

    Tie:
blue & silver mini-diamonds in a basketweave pattern

    Shoes:
Church's "Philip" model black cap-toe oxford

Hope this helps! Post some pics of the complete outfit when you get it!

    Wow!

Awesome, thank you very much! That covers all of the above I asked for, and in such a short time! :)

    One last thing :007)

Do you happen to have information on what kind of braces he wore to support the pants as well? I just want the 'complete' look :D

    I will! -{

Glad to be of use! :)

Craig didn't wear braces/suspenders with this suit, as the side adjusters that are built into the waistband keep the pants supported.

Whilst I've never read anything stating the origin or quality of the shirt fabric, I can assure you it's a top quality cotton, Sea Island or not.

Doesn't the suit also have a suppressed waist and roped shoulders?

Yes, I believe that both are features of Tom Ford's house style/cut.
