    I totally agree. Daniel Craig has had his time. But the funny thing is Craig comes closest to looking like the real spy that Bond is supposedly based on. Popov Dusko, the real spy was short, fair complexion with dirty blond hair much like Daniel. Dusko's cover was a lady's man, gambling playboy.

    I can see Daniel Craig playing Dusko, easily.

    Dusko's collective escapades were one of several influences, but I think it would be overstating the case to say that James Bond is based on him, exactly. In terms of personality and physicality, Fleming describes a character very different from Dusko. Fleming biographer Ben Macintyre does a very good job assessing all the influences in his book.
