Cavill?

Craig is a good actor, but he has to thread carefully to not come across as some bully or thug(which James Bond isn't[again, IMO]). He seems to have maybe too much to prove in his walk, and he seems slightly forward-leaning which makes him seem a little too agressive for me.

Cavill on the other hand has more laid-back of an attitude, and seems more 'connery-ish' and with a hint of Cary Grant in this way. Also, I think anyone would agree he has much better looks, and a more calm and charming demeanor, which oozes true confidence IMO!

I really don't want to upset people. But I'm probably going to.

This guy reminds me of a Grattons Catalougue underwear model.

I agree, Craig has to be careful not to come across simply as a brute.
I agree Cavill he has a "calm" look. And he's definately a handsome boy.

But I don't see the "Connery-ish" bit, and he doesn't have any hint of Cary Grant. Only Cary Grant had any hint of Cary Grant.

Any number of good looking young guys can remind us of Bond by wearing a tux.

It's not easy to detect just through photos, I recommend watching an interview of him.

Hello Tom,

I must admit, I never watch television.

I know that he must be more than O.K. because he has a lot of support on the forum.

So take my post with a hefty pinch of salt. The forum is all about "opinions", and mine is put forward without even seeing the man act.

I don't know if he's Connery-ish, Grant-ish or Bond-ish. But looking like that, at least the female half of the worlds population are going to go to the cinema and but the blu-ray.

I thought there might be another thread about Cavill, however I wanted to start one more to make him even more visible and see if more people would applaud the idea, so that it would stay fresh.

I don't believe anyone that hasn't had a serious look(acting/videos/photos etc.) at Henry Cavill would think anything else than to put him up on the big screen as our favourite secret agent.
