Levis fit that is closest to Sta-Prest

Just wanted to throw this out there... in member's opinions, which levis fit is closest to the Sta-Prest pants Craig wore in Quantum of Solace. I tried the 511 skinny pants, but they seemed a bit too slim in the ankles.

Why don't you just get a pair of 306 Sta Prest?

Have any chino or khaki pants been found to suffice? I am back in Italy, and I can't find the right look here. (How ironic is that?)

Looking at these, I'm not so sure I'd stay with the 501 jean, though they look GREAT in shrink-to-fit sand!

"I must be dreaming."
I was wearing a pair of 511s in British khaki the other day and my dad said to me, "I thought the 1960s were over."

look good...
That one looks very nice... Although a bit too white?
I'll buy 511 of the same color.
The other color that came out around the same time as the silver birch, cimarron, has been reintroduced, so I am hopeful that silver birch may come back as well. We'll just have to see.
There is a new color on the Levi's site, atomic grey, which looks like it would be acceptable. However, Levi's jeans and trousers are always much, much darker in person, so I'm betting it will be too dark an alternative for most of the people in this forum.
How about color?
Good enough?
It is a bit more khaki color, but it is a nice alternative for sure.
Correct.
Saw them in person on a large, older gentleman. I recognized them from this forum. Had a bit of a corduroy look to them, that I didn't like. As he was larger, they didn't quite "fit" him, as they would the average Joe, so they didn't look nearly as snug as those do.

How about this alternative?
Here's what I mean. Take a look. After looking at the eBay listing, the lines on the cords are MUCH more prominent (as expected) than these Sta-Prest pants. In person, however, I thought they looked quite corduroy-ish, and I didn't like it.

I do not see more options ....
The first pair is the atomic grey color I was talking about earlier, I understand that they are much darker in person than they are in that picture.
The second pair is a natural non-dyed color. I bought a pair a while back, and they don't look too bad, but since they are waterless, natural denim, they are quite thick and stiff, and you aren't supposed to wash them unless you feel you absolutely need to.
The last pair is the silver birch color that I feel is the closest. If you can find your size, nab them.
or If I did not find anything
I think I'll take it:

Whatever you do, I would recommend staying away from cords. I have a pair of 511 cord shorts, and they do not vent at all. I wore them in hot weather once and was just saturated in sweat. When I watch QoS, I see the scenes in Haiti, and the thought of wearing 511 cords in that weather makes me cringe.
It's a shame, because after buying a pair of 511s (really just to emulate the look of the 306 Sta-prest) I fell in love with the fit (for trousers at least). But now they're making more cords in the 511 fit than trousers, and I just cannot see them being worn in anything but cooler weather.

I thought at first Levi's was re-releasing them, then I found out that the $58 pants were on sale for $20, so I think they're just leftovers.
If you've never been in an Urban Outfitters, you may feel fairly uncomfortable if you're not a hipster. However, if you want the pants, it's definitely worth it.
