Don't you just love it when that happens. Last year my wife took me to London with my Son. I visted a couple of sites, to mention the scene where Brosnan goes to meet M at the foot of Westminster Bridge in DAD. I decided to turn the door knob where he enters for a laugh not expecting anything and it opened to my amazement. There was no stairwell though, just some fat guy in a pokey office eating a Pizza, totally disappointed me. I excused myself and my kid politely and moved on to our next stop which was the Duck Bus. Apparently used in the Normandy Invasion and now a London Attraction that goes round the streets of London on a tour and then down the Themes, literally. It drives over Vauxhall Bridge and then, wait for it, there is the MI6 building in all it glory. The Duck Bus then drives right round the MI6 building and then goes through the gates and down the other side of the building and on to the Themes giving you a view of the buildig from every angle. As you can imagine, by this point I'm like a kid in a candy shop, my camera is going mad and despite what the tour guide is saying I don't give a s(:t, my attention is totally somewhere else. It then does a little tour of the Themes and then returns to the MI6 building when I get giddy again and my wife begins to cringe but do I care, no I don't. After that we go for something to eat in Green Park next to Buckingham Palace. I'm sat there eating my lunch thinking to myself that this trip couldnt get any better and what happens, the Queens Guards come out playing a rendition of all of the Bond Title songs. I'm in heaven at this point. After a lazy afternoon we walk back to the tube and which street do we walk past, Jermyn St. Well this is it for me, I'm finished off. We walked past Turnbull and Asser, went in to The Floris shop where I purchased 89 and then past and in to Church's where I placed my order for a pair of Ryders. My Second best Bond day of my life by far. Not planned, but for some reason, it just plays out like that.
    Of course you are

fat guy in the office! he must be getting as famous as that bloody doorway.

i too stumbled upon said fat pizza chewing git while having my pic taken (yeah yeah, come on, we've all done it when we're in london) and this guy came along, opened the door, went in and i got a glimpse of GEMP (Guy Eating Massive Pizza) too!

dare the next person to visit and knock on the door and shout 'bring out the GEMP!'

whilst I was last in london it was pissing down with drizzle, i saw mi6 in the rain, some tramp threw up in front of me on vauxhall bridge and the weather picked up as i was leaving. bah humbug.
