After the release of my working Golden Gun and by seeing the reception it got

The above is a sample ( mock up ) as to how it will look as a gift set once finished

the above parts are from my Golden Gun Kit, which many of you have all seen

We are going to make a finished replica so we can work out an exact cost for taking
commissions, on these sets.

main differences from the above ( mocked up set ) and the finished one will be

. Smooth bullet tubes at each side of the buckle as opposed to the knurled styled above

. Engraving on the cuff links will be optional - plain and smooth will be more true to the film

. The Gift box will be foam padded with the items sunk into the velvet lining much like my
Golden Gun case.

all of the items in this set will be made from heavy brass and Gold Plated

The belt buckle bullet tubes will be custom made to hold your choice of bullets,
should you favour SD Studios rounds... or Factory Entertainment Bullets

we would like to get an idea of what Kind of interest there would be in this Gift Set.

We have some raw materials which we are going to make a finished replica from soon
to get a complete commission cost and price etc

The Belt Buckle will be able to be worn with a designated size of Belt ( size to be decided upon )

The Cuff Links will be able to be worn on a wide range of shirt Cuffs

If you are interested in what you see above. Please post your interest

Just think how cool it will be to assemble your Golden Gun and lift a Golden round from
your buckle and place it into the back of Your Golden Gun, it will make the entire Golden
Gun kit complete, and also add another aspect of functionality and realism to your prop

Cheers Guys......... Michael ....... The QUARTERMASTER.

    Mick,
Your Grandfather's done a wonderful job of duplicating your version the Scaramanga buckle and cufflinks.
The presentation box gives it a very classy storage/display option.
    Kudos to you both!!!

We are going to make The Belt Buckle with a 2 option function.
. it will be made to slide onto an existing belt
. have fixed screws and a pull back locking function - alowing to
to be a permanent fixture of a belt of your choice

    ALSO

the option of having the Bullet Tubes with the knurled design
    above is available

As I say would just like to get a list of interested parties and take it
from there..... your comments are most kind guys :007)

I take it you don't have reference photos of the actual buckle :D

Or am I getting this wrong and your making your own interpretation of the buckle :v

Of course its his interpretation to match his Golden Gun - very unique design

yes Texas007 is quite right.. however to make the one above more accurate to the film used version

The Bullet Tubes can be made smooth, aside from that it looks fairly accurate to what I have seen
    of the film prop,

And the Cuff Links are again our design which can screw into my Golden Gun and activate and move the
trigger slide in the handle flip off, making the Gun fire, again these were made based on reffrence photos
and detailed research into the film props used on the Golden Gun

Danjaq.... I have my sources aswel, not everything is made from DVD freeze frames and our own designs,
it is ''inspired from DVD freeze frames'' :)) I have detailed photos of a number of parts of the films props
etc that made up the golden gun and its extras, which I have not seen anywhere online

if The FE or SD Golden Guns... had threaded holes on the handle flip off's we could have made these
so that you could take either of your cuff links off and make it into your golden guns trigger like mines
however ... as far as I know both the FE and SD golden guns, had the threaded holes where the cuff
links screwed in.. in the lighter pull out, ( why the threads from the links were so Long ) as opposed
to the handle flip off like the actual film prop, and of course the First Gen SD Studios Golden Gun,

Im afraid your Scorsese are wrong Mick, The only thing SA on your buckle is the centre line :D even with smooth sides ;)

    I'd be in. Two questions:

Isn't Texas007 doing the same project?

Would it be available without the display case? My place is full of cases and holders now... :)

    Looking great, sir!

Well, not exactly the same - this thread is about Mick's own interpretation / his unique design belt buckle - along the same line with his unique golden gun.

Yes I would agree with whats been said....

My Belt Buckle and Cuff Links are from Myself & My Grandfathers
Golden Gun Design.... the whole Gun and its extras were inspired
and based on the film however, it was re-invented to a certain
extent lets say, to make all the functions real and work for real.
unlike the film prop which works on camera but maybe not behind
the camera.... so our aim was to bring an item of fiction into the
real world..... that was the idea anyway, and this will be our aim
with every prop from now on, and going back over old props and
making them better and real working along with new props

We thought it would be neat to offer the above to everyone since
we all seem to have Golden Guns now, so it would be a bit
pointless offering our Golden Gun, due to its functions, well one in
    particular :)) :# 8-) :))

we could make to commission a golden gun replica, the very same as
ours with the working pen, lightable lighter, wearable cuff links, and
a usable cigarette case, and it could go together to make the gun

However for Now..... The Buckle and Cuff Links are on offer, Due to
you all having Golden Guns, but NO belt Buckle Bullet Holsters, and
Your Cuff links are not wearable due to the long threads and its design

so what we are offering will add to your Golden Gun Displays as a whole
and create another element of realism and functionality to the whole thing

Danjaq I am sure we could custom make a belt buckle for you sir... no probs
I will have to go see the Brass specialists and see if they can obtain some
brass from The Planet Krypton, shouldn't be a problem :007)
( I know we enjoy our banter and humour back and forth - But am I to asume
you are interested in one of these gift sets ?
    )

Also in regards to it being a cosh.. I always thought that was the idea of
heavy buckles especialy in the 60s / 70s eras .... there was alot of Street fights
between the Mods and Rockers etc ... wonder what side Scaramanga would
have been wielding his belt for ....... ha ha ha joking aside the buckle is actualy
a nice size and weight, watch my video to see, I would wear it with a suit or
part of a formal outfit... looks very smart and unique

Taxas007 .... am I right in thinking we are cool? hope you don't think I have
jumped in on anyones projects etc, the only reason for offering this was due
    to the reception of the completed Golden Gun -{

''ALSO EVERYONE'' who has posted an interest in this.... which Bullets would you
preffer the Buckle to hold, SD studio Rounds .... or FE rounds.... we will be making
the sets on a person to person individual basis, I am just curious what everyone
feels would be the best Gun for this set to go with, I am thinking the FE Gun due
to it having the flip down back on the lighter, and it can take a bullet.

But no matter as I say will be getting made for SD and FE bullets.... which ever the
    customer chooses

Mick, I kind of view your inventions as a sort of art, your interpretation of what things look like in your world, for me I like things to be as close as possible if not 100%, If you are saying your making an SA buckle, then your reference is obviously wrong, like I said in one of my past posts the only thing SA on your buckle is the centre line, the slots are the wrong shape, and on the original they are straight :v also on the original if you have the right reference you will see how it attaches to the belt ;) the buckle and the cufflinks are as far off SA as your GG.

I'm not knocking your buckle, it looks very nice and shiny, but like they say in The Dragons Den, I'm out :D
