this is going to seem a tad redundant but im looking for anyone that can or has seen a suitable replacement for the jack purcell otrs in chocolate and paprika worn in cr? ive seen the affordable james bond site but none of their replaccements do the shoes justice, and even look like them. im sorry if this was a previous topic ive tried looking on here but could not find anything.

On the converse website you can custom build Jack Purcell low tops. I had some made in brown and black . Close as I have got so far.

Converse Bosey boots aren't too bad. That's what I currently use for the look. I've retired my Purcell OTR's as I didn't want them completely trashed.

Converse usually has one or two boot styles per season that are pretty good. I've had tall Chuck Taylors that were the same leather as the Purcells but they've gotten hard to find in any real sizes. Also, the Converse Outsider boots are pretty good when they're the correct leather.

Your best bet may be just a basic brown leather Chuck with a black sole. You can build that on the site for $75.

Great post, 00Null. I'm not a big fan of these shoes, but have become a big fan of the look. I can't afford the Magnoli replica shirt, but tried on my old Hawaiian-style shirt, and was reminded of how light and comfortable it was. Working in the sun the past week (along with a walk through the San Diego Wild Animal Park a few weeks ago) has gotten me interested in the pants, as well.

As per usual, colors and sizes are rare, but those are them.

Personally, I use Frye sneakers for the look.

ive seen boots that i would consider close but he only wore them in one scene in the movie along with the shirt so i think im going to pass on this outfit if im going to dress for warm weather ill look twords burn notices michael westen for style inspiration

I have a pair of these boots so its easy for me to say this but why not just opt for some current converse boots in brown that give you that 'Bond' look? Not identical but has the same feel maybe? Just a thought...
