3) DAD Rebreather 1:1
4) T/Ball Rebreather
5) TWINE 'Eye of The Glen's' lapel pin 1:1

    In this order of issuance...

2 TWINE 'Eye of The Glen's' lapel pin 1:1
    3 MWTGG Solex Agitator 1:1

Just an observation, but does it make sense to keep re-making SD studios props instead of new props?

    But a great list.....

I definitely need the FRWL attache case. SD attache cases are not so common - I can't seems to find one for sale.
Hey, may be you can help me Paul :v

FE first a small note that I hope the QA is better next time…and that I hope you have learned that having things done in china is not always easy and fun so next time do it some other place… then next I don’t hope you are go-ing o redo all the SD props… but then again the FRWL Attache Case is very very nice….and the Solex Agitator would be nice next to GG.

just do something SD didnt get round to doing Baz.

another case, another rebreather (ITS A BREATHER ANYWAYS DAMN IT!!), another dart gun, etc etc

ok, so theres many people out there that didnt get chance first time round with SD, but to simply copy SD's catalogue seems a bit lacking in the imagination dept.

    just my two cents worth

Jeff you are speaking for all of us but SD still did make some that was so unique that we all would love a second chance to get one like the FRWL Attache Case… but the rest let it go… but on the other hand if you have to make props for the general public it could be a challenge…. Could you imagine selling garrote watch and then somebody used it like a weapon lol

No one wants teh CR defib? Most of the things I seen above have been done before or are even available today through some resident props makers!

From a commercial standpoint I think that would be doomed… I think FE are looking for some more iconic items...and often they are old like GG…

    Perhaps but if you make 1000 copies (run) I think ajb is not enough, but perhaps you are right it is one item that got Bond back to life… -{

Thanks for the input everybody, as always its valued.

This is just an interest thread, for future products, to gauge opinions. There are 8 items, 5 of which are 'new' and have never been produced as officially licensed replicas. We are trying to avoid items previously produced by SD studios because we don't want to be seen as doing copycat product. But SD's replicas were produced many years ago, and many of them were never actually released officially so were almost impossible to obtain. Several of the highly desirable products were only sold on the secondary market, many as unfinished or kit parts, after SD stopped producing licensed Bond items.

At the end of the day the brand owner, EON/Danjaq dictates 100% what we produce and how we produce it. We have an excellent relationship with them and item selection is a collaborative exercise. They always ask us what fans think and what public opinion on certain items is. But when they say 'we would really like to see this' its sensible for us to listen to them :D

I think we have said it before but we want to clarify there are certain items that we simply cannot ever produce. Usually for legal reasons where there is clear branding or trademark issues. we cannot produce for example a Rolex copy as we would need Rolex's permission to do so and they will never grant permission for such use. Its a shame but its fact of life.

As a little treat I can confirm that we ARE working on an attache case and have been for 18 months. Its probably the jewel in the crown of Bond Props (not including large scale things like vehicles) and happens to be the personal favorite of a senior person in the Bond family. But if it cannot be produced properly and to the standard and accuracy we want then we will not proceed. So far its looking good but the prop replica process when done correctly can seem frustratingly slow.

The next wave of items to be announced will be unveiled at San Diego Comic Con in July and NONE of these 8 are included in that wave..... we are now working on 2012 product which is an anniversary year for Bond and sure to be exciting.

We don't choose China as a manufacturing location for fun or ease. We do it because they produce product on time to a good price and to a high standard. But we don't just use China. We manufacture all over the world and have over 15 years of manufacturing experience in the collectibles business. If I could use domestic or other locations to produce Bond products we would, gladly.

To date I have not been able to find vendors in the US or Europe who are willing to commit to produce prop replicas of this type to a deadline and a fixed price. Hand making runs of 10 or 20 is not problem, even a few hundred, but 500+ produced consistently as commercial product, packaged, with all the relevant testing insurance etc is an entirely different discipline. We have had insane situations where vendors have quoted prices to assemble and pack a product that are 2 or 3 times the costs they are quoting to produce the actual product itself. The reason is usually because they are outsourcing that element.

Seriously - If there is anybody out there reading this who has the capability wants to quote to produce these things then get in touch. I have a backlog of products I want to get going and PO's I want to write.

    Lets stop China-bashing
