Sorry if this is old news but does anyone know why the collection was not available to us here in the United States??
So many cars so well done with all of there individual dioramas. I would have loved to have gotten these cars.

Thanks
Rick

    To quote:
"The biggest market for partworks is Italy and Spain, followed by the UK and France. Twenty partworks were published in the UK alone last year. A growing market is Eastern Europe, Russia and Ukraine, but the United States is the industry's Holy Grail.

Companies have tried on numerous occasions to break into the US market, but it has never really worked because it is too big. There are 200-plus TV markets with more than 2,000 stations, so reaching people is difficult and very, very expensive."

Yes, this topic was covered in the main thread on the JBCC at some point.

Interesting. It may be difficult to reach people there, but then there are so many of them! I'm sure someone will crack it finally and break into the US market.

In Australia, where I am, there are few TV stations, but there are also fewer potential subscribers, yet we are getting most European partworks (including the 007 car collection and 1/8 scale Aston MArtin DB5)... Although we are paying more than the UK subscribers, so it's probably how the publisher/distributor get compensated for the small market.
