He'll then go around referring to himself in the third person as 'Mister B'....
I pity the fool who will stand in his way.

Has anyone thought that Javier Bardem might be "Blofeld, if their is any thruth to bring the character back if they are allowed to? Will Javier Bardem shave his wonderful, latin full hair?
I think he looked more mature and put together in QoS despite preferring him and the story of Casino Royale. Just in comparison, I thought the CR cut looked a little off in some of his fine outfits whereas the QoS cut seemed more clean and style-appropriate.
Really interesting, we sound like a bunch of particularly bitchy girls. Even those of us who have some 'reservations' re DC as Bond (not I stress DC as a person) seem more than a bit obsessed with him, and particularly his look(s) Inc hair, clothes, shoes (elevated or not) and general demeanour. Personally I prefer the QOS look in terms of hair, but not the Steve McQueen looks.
DC as an individual strikes me as very stylish, and often dresses very well (he has won several 'best dressed' male type awards including GQ) As Bond I find him confusing, with huge variation between scenes where I think he 'nails it' followed by others where I think ' oh no' I think he tends to dress better as himself, and perhaps he will get more control in 23. I think we can expect (and hope for) more classic tailoring, and slightly longer hair in 23 to go with a more style and glamour.
Given the fact the Movie is supposed to start filming in What? two months, and we have very little firm Information as yet all we have to talk about is looks etc. )
Craig I think suits the slightly longer hair, The shorter shows just how high up is forhead goes (Like Connery) as for winning the Best dressed man etc, I think they where in the years of a Bond release and I'm sure presure /Donations as advertising is done to help various mags choose a worthy winner, ( This goes for all winners of such things, NOT just Craig ). I am an Old cynic arn't I :v
And I found something I have in Commom with DC, we both don't like 3d Movies, In an interview he said he felt silly sitting in a cinema of "Elton Johns", Untill they can loose the glasses I don't think 3d will truly catch On.
"I've been informed that there ARE a couple of QAnon supporters who are fairly regular posters in AJB."
Daniel Craig has a fairly hard edged look to his face which seems to become more prominent as he ages. I think this acts against him as Bond. Longer hair would act to soften his features and might help him seem more Bond-like. His portrayal to date has been more thuggish and less sophisticated than that associated with James Bond but perhaps they are going to have him develop over time. We will need to wait and see. Vesper's comment to Bond on the train regarding him wearing his clothes with "such disdain" is I feel significant. I can't imagine anyone saying the same to any of the other Bond actors or coming away with that idea after reading the books.
Some of the comments about DC's looks reminded me of something I've heard from a number of young ladies who didn't think he was very hot until they saw the beach scene in Casino Royale.

Yep we certainly are desperate for news, and are reduced to reading Tea leaves, and old ones at that. As for 3D I think you are right, it has it's place in animated/fantasy but in the main adds little or nothing in most cases.Certainly not right for Bond. it would look cool in a titles sequence, and for the Gun barrel but nowhere else I think.
Luckily those of us Bond fans Secure in their Masculinity, can discuss anything. ) ) )
I remember hearing ( I think it was Graham Rye, from The James Bond British Fan Club, I was a member for many years -{ ) in an interview that the weridest thing he'd ever been asked Infomation on was, a Fan who wanted the Inside leg Measurements of all the Bond actors. )
"I've been informed that there ARE a couple of QAnon supporters who are fairly regular posters in AJB."
For Craig, short hair is better. He has good bone structure to his face, especially his cheeks. His broader, higher forehead is classically masculine and handsome. For such men, shorter hair is always better, but for Craig, it also makes him look neater, sleeker. If he had a narrow or feminine, mannequin-like face, longer hair might be more flattering.
Craig's hair often didn't look as good in Quantum of Solace in my opinion, especially in scenes like the one while he's listening in at the opera and at the end in Russia. It was a little too long on top and definitely too long in the back, and because his hair is so fine, gave him a less athletic and more mundane appearance . . . his hair looks best in several scenes in Casino Royale, such as when he breaks into Ms apartment, arrives in the Bahamas, or sits at the gambling table in the Bahamas poker scene . . . in the final poster for Casino Royale, when he is walking away from Vesper, he looks like a classic, retro Bond, and that's a good look for him and for 007.
if they are going for the more 'classic' look, then its going to be longer and combed to the back, like in the very first picture we saw of Craig as Bond, with the gun in your face, remember? anyone got it?
Just a thought, if they had a time lapse pts, say of a few months or so, he could have longish hair for the pts then have a shorter cut for the rest of the movie. That way, you don't get a whole film with long hair and folk saying, oh don't like that...

Oh no, I disagree completely... I thought that look was terrible, it really put me off him as Bond and reminded me of TD's disastrous swept back do for some of LTK. I do agree that slightly longer as it has been in recent interviews suits him well. The severe crop looks thug like and lacks sophistication, more Commando than Commander.

Zaphod, lol!!
your comment cracked me up...more commando than commander...
that TD do was a train wreck, of course Dalton's hair in his entire watch as Bond was in my a opinion a train wreck. they should of pulled a Connery on him, shaved his top and slapped a piece on his shiny scalp and been done with it!
i think he will have a back sack and crack, and a skin head

I have never seen a James Bond actor with bad hair. We know that Sean Connery wore a toupee, but the style now is to be clean-shaven. So Connery is back in style again.
I am in my late 40's and 50 is coming fast. I have lost alot of hair in just 3 years, while working overnite. I feel bad about it. Nothing I can do about it.
If you don't like seeing James Bond actors trying to style their hair or seem to be losing it, then go watch Bruce Willis in his Die Hard movies.
Even if a James Bond actor wore a wig or an expensive "Burt Reynolds" toupee, I would still like the James Bond movie.
His haircut? Really? Maybe it's just me, but I am amazed that this is such a topic of discussion.
God is in the detail Blackleiter, and besides it's slack news year so far...
How Bond looks, what he wears, and how he presents himself is really critical to the over all Bondiverse. The move from a classic Bond look to the reboot has been the subject of much discussion and debate, hair colour, height etc have become contested areas. Plus we are all behaving like a group of bitchy girls.
First impression counts... Since Craig’s Bond was introducing with short hair and Casino Royale is such outstanding Bond film, therefore the short hair made a very lasting impression. I definitely preferred short hair. :P
Never theorize before you have data. Invariably, you end up twisting facts to suit theories, instead of theories to suit facts.

You people are making too much out of Craig's hair. Who says they won't go back to an actor with the dark haired combed over look.
Thank God, they are not using today's teenager hairstyles like making spikes or coloring the hair to make it look like a fish tank.
They say Connery wore his toupee during the entire film. As soon as he finished his scene with Miss Moneypenny, he took the toupee off.

O! M! G!
I know, that times are slow, it's summer and everyone is waiting for Bond 23.
But guys discussing DC's haircut is too much!
What's next?
Handbags for men?
Fiat 500 for the future Bond car?
G-Strings for blokes?
Is this the Twilight Forum?

LOL, that's a true statement. Good thing there is such a wealth of Bond material for us to scrutinize.

surely the movie producers have ideas that they pass on to hair and makeup people?
its important enough as is the wardrobe no?
