Pierce Brosnan's Hair

Brosnan in my opinion had the best hair as James Bond. The hair is what made him truly look like a smooth, slick spy. Which film did you prefer Brosnan's hair in?

1. GoldenEye 2. Goldfinger 3. Skyfall 4. OHMSS 5. TWINE

Are we talking Chest Hair, as TND would be my favourite. Up there with Connery in YOLT. :)) and very similar to my own Manly Chest :D
if not, Then I also liked his hairstyle in DAD as it was a little shorter, Thought it was a little long in Goldeneye.

Didn't he wax his chest for GE, then grow it again for TWINE? Cf sauna scene in one with Molly Warmflash in the other.

Dunno, I thought TWINE was best hairstyle, his ears are quite large though and in the others he tried to have his hair long to cover that.

I prefer Craigs hair in CR. Too bad its blonde.
Brosnans hair was great in TWINE, as was his Brioni suits.

I think it was perfect in TND. Perfect length, not too short, not too long like it was in GE

the only difference i noticed was that his hair is different in ge than in the 3 other films. by the way, if you think that his is the best hair, who had the worst?

The worst....Roger in his last two films. Really, the swept-back hairstyle he had in OP and AVTAK contributed more than anything to his ageing spurt in that period.

What about Daltons hair in the Casino in LTK (and I'm a big Dalton fan)

One of the things I admire about OHMSS is the fact that although almost all male stars at the time were letting their hair grow to moddish length, Lazenby's haircut was almost military trim which kind of gave his look a toughness credibility that contrasted nicely with the "dandy" outfits that he wore in the film.

I remember reading a post from another fan that Dalton's hair in LTK made him look more like Dracula Than Bond. :))

Me to, and I share your view that was a very bad choice indeed. I remember thinking at the time ' did they not bother with hair & makeup checks'? Even if it got as far as the shoot you would have thought that someone, anyone, would have said STOP! for christs sake he looks terrible. Dalton's hair was never his strongest asset.

Agreed, that was a really good call, it makes the Dandyish clothes almost bearable. His non Dandy looks were very crisp indeed, and he wore suits with conviction (he was a Model after all)

Way tooooo long in GE dude...he looks like a member of Duran Duran in that Beach scene.

Well, Dalton was receding by then so a side parting wasn't really on. Thing is, it looked noticeably shabby when he was in a tux, (less so when faffing about in casual wear) so he went for the slicked back look instead. He didn't really have much choice.

Agreed that his receding limited the options, but a skilled hairdresser could have made a significant difference with a shorter cut, or failing that a 'piece' after all it's not without precedent in the Bond movies. I think that in a similar way that Lazenby 's shorter hair offset and to some extent mitigated the Dandy-ish clothes in OHMSS, a sharper cut would have made him look less of a scruff in the more casualy dressed scenes.

TWINE was probably the best. In TND and GE it was too long so it never was flattering for the profile shots.

Agree about the suits in TWINE too. In that movie it's pretty clear Hemming was trying to homage the Connery era (Bilbao, Azerbaijan suits!). Even the ties were just a very plain, muted herringbone as a bit of a nod to the knitted silk ties Connery wore.

I liked Brosnans hair longish in Goldeneye

Daniel Craigs was better short in CR rather then Quantum. Though his hair looked a bit like my old mans in Quantum and made DC look older :D

Chest Hair Connery all the way!!
