The "Inside" Documentaries

The 007 Ultimate Edition, and I believe Special Edition as well, includes documentaries on the films. These documentaries are mostly narrated by Patrick Macnee. In my opinion, they are one of the greatest things a Bond fan can have access too. They provide insides of all sorts of topics from the casting to the musical scores. For those who have seen the documentaries, what are your thoughts?

This is a GREAT book indeed. A very insightful read. My gold book cover is beat up from reading it so often :v :v

Just found this on YouTube here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GTWguaAiecM
Does anyone think the John Cork/Bruce S documentaries, or ones of that quality will ever be re-done in extended length?
What I found particularly great about those documentaries is that they didn't hide from serious aspects such as poor performances from actors or the films commercially.

They really put you in the team of a Bond movie with funny anecdotes and stories.

The new documentaries, if you can call them that, are horrendous. I think people have too short attention spans to see through long documentaries these days.
There's a lot of footage of the cast and crew giving their insights about the films. I honestly think we've heard almost as much as we possibly could from them. I know that if they put Roger Moore in front of the camera, he'll find a way to repeat what he has said before, no matter what questions are thrown at him. At least we have three books from him.
...and Skyfall
Ken Adam is a genius. I also admire Lewis Gilbert more after seeing this.

Totally agree on this, they are very good -{
Until I re-invested in the two-disc Ultimate Editions I had never seen them. Never even knew they existed.
They did some other features too, about the music, special effects, Ken Adam, Peter Lamont, Terence Young etc.

That's true. Surely EON has other footage not previously released that they could add, such as the deleted scene in QoS featuring White's death!!! Would be interesting given he's alive in the current timeline
