Maybe it's me but I don't ever remember seeing this in ANY Bond film ever!!!

Occasionaly we get someone who joins the board and attempts to sell an item by stating that their_____(Insert name of relative/friend) worked or knew____(Insert name of film company /
    actor / producer, etc)_____on a Bond film.

So as not to confuse you with that type of seller perhaps you can explain the provedemce behind the item.

Oh, and welcome to the board.

I think he is referring to a mike that was used by the team during filming?

The mike, which can be seen in the circus scenes (moderator/presenter) is a totally different model.....

To reply to the initial question seriously:

If some James Bond collector should put up some value (and extra cash) into the fact, that it has been used on the Octopussy set, you will have to provide with more evidence for this.

As it stands now, you have a used (probably) professional microphone to sell. Nothing more - unless you give information, which backs your claim. And then you have to find a collector, who pays an extra for the fact, that it is one of the many, that have been used on the 007 set.

To be fair, he's looking for advice on how to get it valued, he's not selling it yet.

anyhow, he'll have to give some substancial infos for his claim. Otherwise, it's just a used microphone.

Noone judged quick on you, dude.

We asked for more infos to give you proper advise and I am sure, that the "the james bond memoribillia specialist" was asking the same questions.

BTW, are you sure, that it's not the same microphone, which has been used in Kennedy's "I have a dream" speech? :D

you may better ask this in the Beatles Forum, but don't be surprised to get similar reactions there... :#

You'll have to deliver more than that you "are sure about your claim". Where is the beef?

People only ask for proof so they can then try and give you the correct help....no ulterior motive at all...
