Church Ryder 3 -sizing

I just received a pair of Church Ryder 3's and had a question about sizing. I wear a size 9 -9.5 US shoe and ordered a UK 8 in G. The width is perfect but I'm finding the shoes are a little long. Has anyone else experienced this? I have wide feet and worry if I go down a size they may be too narrow.

If anyone has any advice on sizing that would be great, thanks.

    Hi belle
I have the boots also. I wear oxfords a lot (several shoemakers including Church's) and always take a 10 F. However, in the case of the Ryder 3 the boot was too big and went half a size down. The boot now fits perfectly and do not look long compared to other boots I wear. I would recommend trying 8.5 UK so you can see for yourself.

Thanks for the advice. I went for the UK 8 which is usually what I would go with. I just find there is a bit of room in the front of the boot compared to some other shoes and wasn't sure if this was a fit thing or a style thing. I may order a pair of 7.5 and see if they're any better.

    Has anyone else experienced this?

Ive got the 8F and they are tight all over. I can wear them for a short period of time but if its warm outside or ive had them on all day then by toes start to shourt at me. Ive just ordered the 9F and hopefully they will be perfect. I am generally a size 9 but heard that Churchs are on the large size so went for the 8.
    Of course you are
