  They're a pretty common item for the Fall-Winter season. I think that most clothing stores have some variation of the classic peacoat during the colder months. I got mine at Old Navy last winter for about $50. Once Fall rolls around & shops begin stocking their cold-weather gear, I'd suggest hitting up a local mall or checking out your favourite clothing stores. It shouldn't be too hard to find.

  You should be able to find a ''real'' one if you search military surplus websites (probably for less than the price of a fashion-brand peacoat) and it'll last a hell of a lot longer too !! Mine has been everywhere and still looks new :-)
