I would like it if Bond wore a Speedmaster, but i suppose he won't since they're already known for going to the moon, so Omega doesn't need him to endorse it.
Away at Boot Camp, won't be back until April the earliest.

I would like it if Bind went back to wearing a Rolex Submariner! But I suppose he won't since Omega are no doubt paying a fortune for the product placement :))

Omega Orbis might be right for Daniel Craig, BUT NOT for JAMES BOND!

It will be a Planet Ocean with bracelet I would guess. Although a Rolex Submariner would be better ;)

Hope you are right, Paul! I would feel more happy with a Rolex back on Bond's wrist - afterall that what Flemming himself wrote in the books and we saw in so many of the early movies.

    NMS :)

I guess the Rolex would be more correct to Fleming, but Omega's, in my opinion are better watches.

Just recieved the pricing on the new Planet Ocean (as of Sept 2011 when the watch becomes available):
    4600 EUR Retail.
I can get 30% off that.

Are you sure about that? I sense some hesitancy.

I don't like the blue version. I very much like the blue 'Brosnan era' Seamaster, but I think the Planet Ocean should be black. The black one is beautiful in my opinion. I've never liked the orange version because I find it too conspicuous, and I don't like the new blue version because to me it looks cheap somehow.

I'll buy a PO someday, when I have the money (I'm still a student). For now I'm perfectly happy with my Seamaster 2531.80.00.

I have two Rolex watches and have had three Omegas and I do like both brands. However, I am sorry but Rolex are in my opinion the better of the two. That said, Omega make excellent watches.

This Omega De Ville looks like an IWC Mark 15 or 16.
This would be a great brand for Bond.

IWC are very expensive watches when you compare them to Omega. Although at the rate Omega & Rolex increase their prices they won't be far off what IWC charge soon.

I'm hoping to get one of these just after the first of the year. My fiance said she would buy me one for our wedding in February. i might hold off to see which one he will wear in Bond 23...I was torn between this one and the traditional blue faced on from the Brosnan era...

The blue faced PB-era Omega is a beautiful watch and is engrained in that period - although DC wore one in CR too...if you can go the extra cash the Submariner IS Bond.
