Does Sunspel offer bespoke clothing?

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know if Sunspel offer their products tailored?

I am asking because I want the polo shirt Bond(DC) uses, and I'm considering the Tom Ford one, especially since I will get it tailored from them, but I know Sunspel sells one almost identical looking at a lower price, and they have alot of nice shirts on their website which I would be interested in.

I am not aware that Sunspel offer a bespoke service but I am sure members will correct me if I am wrong. Don't forget that DC will have had some of his clothes/outfits 'tailored' for him by the costume department. You maybe be able to buy the same items as he wore but his might have had alterations done ... same as you buying a TF polo then having it shortened to fit better etc.

not to go off topic, but do they still offer the same shirt was worn in the film. Looks like the navy one doesn't have the pocket.

Yes, Sunspel still sells the Riviera polo shirt that was worn by DC in Casino Royale. They come in a variety of colours, & they all have a chest pocket: http://www.sunspel.com/mens/riviera-polo-shirts

I don't know if Sunspel offers a bespoke service for regular customers, but it looks like something they might do for film productions. According to their website, they made bespoke t-shirts for Christian Bale in "The Dark Knight": http://www.sunspel.com/about/sunspel/our-history/

Sunspel is a good quality brand, but it's not made in UK and it's not Ballantyne or other more Bespoke brands to my taste.

It's made in Turkey. I have the blue polo..

I have the blue polo as well as about twenty other items made by Sunspel. None of them have 'Made in Turkey' in the labels.

Same goes for other people I know who have their products.

Bruno is right about the Riviera polo, I asked Sunspel and they said that it is made in Turkey.

I'm surprised about this as I thought it had to be stated on the label if it was made outside of the UK.

I also think it's pretty poor that Sunspel have these polos made somewhere other than the UK when they have had such great sales from the Bond connection.

I know a lot of the Sunspel stuff has made in England on it however my latest stuff this is missing from the garments.

Prob the reason why the black polos are diff sized then the navy, ive two black and they are smaller then my navy

Just an FYI, made in Turkey isn't like Made in China. I have seen high end brands with things that come from Turkey before. I know there is a brand or two that proudly states a couple of their things are Turkish cotton. Don't be too worried about quality because they switched to Turkey, that is generally not an issue.
