Hi all..
Just thought I'd show off a couple of new items added to my collection,
Just don't tell the miss'es
- real glass from DAD
- real door card from DAD
- real lead soldier from LD
- real pipesled joystick from DAD
- replica key (by me) from DAD
Hope you like them...

But from known sources so I know their genuine .. -{
TIS - "The moment you think you got it figured - you're wrong"
Formerly known as Teppo
very nice BPF, but i'm thinking the pipesled is meant to be called a pig, and its in TWINE, not DAD. the glass is interesting, i'm thinking it was actually used as a candle holder though. the cards i am always cynical about, i've seen so many that its getting laughable now. did the prop makers really make several hundred for a simple 2 second shot? hmm.....
the key is cool and simple, but i can't place the lead soldier from TLD

U read my mind Jeff... 8-)
And Whitaker has a massive 8ft square diorama of a 19 century battle (Waterloo?) which is clearly seen in the film.....along with it's 600 lead soldiers
This could easily be one of them ( I have half a dozen purported to be from the shot ) and identification is impossible...
If you show the figure in close up I could try to verify it for you..
or was it little big horn or summat? or cemetry ridge?

Btw that figure ( though a terrible picture) looks like a polish lancer from the 19th century..
They got around but none "figured " at either of the battles u mention Jeff...
Stick to making stuff.... 8-)
So what is the figure Pete? Polish or French cavalry?
And presume by the bay you mean eBay ?
reminds me, i need to book an eye test (seriously)
when i first read that i though you put pole dancer............. 8-)

if they're genuine items then top bombing mr BPF. a COA generally stands for crap all from where i'm sitting though and i'd only buy from people either yourself or mr J suggested to me.
like i said before, i've seen way too many swipe cards. there simply can't be that many genuine one's made.

as far as i'm aware though, there was no big runs of items that didnt need to be. there was a knife for instance, looked like the knife from the FRWL case, it dont think it made it on to screen but only a handful were made, hero's and a few rubbers.
but who knows, maybe some prop maker churned out a few extras to make a few quid. wouldnt be the first time.
as for the swipe card, i've seen clear lasercut ones, frosted lasercut ones, hand cut ones, engraved ones, resin ones, ones with rounded corners, ones with square corners, some with genuine GG logo on, some with dodgy logos.
and all claiming to be 'screen used'.......
i've got a geunine champagne flute, i know that because i made the damn thing. it aint and never will be for sale, so its authenticity isn't worth me getting into an argument with anyone about it.
it just seems that these days, anyone can print out their own COA, and flog anything to the unsuspecting fan.
call me mr cynical, but after seeing so many ripoffs and fakes, i would be very wary before parting with my hard earned.

i'd be happy to give my opinion on it mate, thats what this whole forum is for in my mind.
i just hope mr BPF doesn't see me as someone voicing a nelson muntz style 'ha-ha!' at him as i'm just voicing my concern at the amount of rip-off bond items going about the globe.
