Well it appears some of his gear IS genuine, I cant understand why he would BS about the other stuff , Like Donk and Paul pointed out, the QoS PPK is totally wrong. I don't think that someone that is in to Bond guns like he says he is, would make such mistakes :007)
Firstly, the guy does a lot for charity..... There are loads of references on the net, and they all seem genuine. He even donated a prop for a hospital auction....
Secondly, he gets a kick out of bond.....that should resonate with most of us on here....
Third he's an actor.... So ego is a must, and he clearly uses his bond obsession as a plug for his acting credentials.....hence the rubbish about being short listed for the role, and capturing a teenager who made off with an old lady's bicycle...
He's also guilty of inflating the value of his collection, via absurd insurance valuations...but this is common amongst collectors and is as much a reflection of the value to them of irreplaceable items.
As regards owning the world most expensive bond weapon, that's rubbish too.... $15k or £15k is nothing in this area of the market. I recall that auction in 2005 and was there.... I don't recall much fuss about the Dalton ppk - and tgt it went for much less...
So where did the £15k come from? probably a bad currency calculation by the journalist ( £7k was approximately us$15k back in 2006 ) and all jack is guilty of is not pointing out the error...
Anyway, as bond fans goes jack marsden is up there with most....
As a role model or icon or replacement for DC, I dont think you need a speargun to get the point.....
In fact, as someone said, don't google the sun 2003 article...
Someone mentioned the way he holds his weapon in the pics...
To that end, this is reassuring as a quote..
"These shorts are secure and I have every confidence in them."
No matter how well you hold it, as minijeff says often, Better not be caught exposing it..

Ditto however I'd like it even better if his finger was resting across the side of the trigger guard. Basic weapons handling 101.
