John Smedley Polos & Knitwear - any advice on the fit?

Found some John Smedley Polos & Knitwear online that I like - any advice on the fit? Unfortunately I am not in a location or position to try in shops.
Some of the pics I've seen show them modelled by very skinny people so not sure if to go a size up (I'm pretty broad and like to think muscular
)
For reference I own Sunspel polos, Ralph Lauren Custom fit polos (size XL)
Also any info on quality would be appreciated (they do look very high quality)

And they are great by the way. I have a Brioni long sleeved polo and rate the Smedley better. There are some great deals on Ebay too.
5' 11", 170lbs, 40" chest, 32 waist, etc.
Hows the quality compared to Sunspel?
Yes - some great end of line stuff on eBay. got my eye on a few knitwear items (Merino V Necks) etc

Being fairly broad & muscular, I find the Smedley's enhance body shape well, not hanging as a baggy fit that some tend to do after a while.
