Eight films with Timothy Dalton ... yes, I can very well understand this. I too prefer to watch a film in a quiet, empty cinema. :))

qos would not have been made at that period in your timeline as there were more fleming novels after it

Panda eyes > Pansy eyes. Dalton in 8 films is hysterical. Way to kill the franchise.
  • I'm having a hard understanding this and I haven't touched a drop of liquor in two days ?:)

    I think, really,

we should just leave the entire franchise as it is, and accept it for what it gave us, and still does

That way it'll be a lot easier

i feel that casino royale should have been the 1st movie, in accordance to the books obviously with connery. he stays on until 1967 with live and let die,(he left in 67 anyways with no intention to come back). i think that the whole blofeld thing should have been handled by one actor so that went to lazenby for 3 films. i picked him based on the strength of the performance in ohmss. moore picked up in 74 and did all of his original films until 81 when dalton took over. it would have been the perfect time for moore to vacate the role based on his age. dalton does op and avtak and property of a lady which he should have done anyway and ends with ge in 92 with brosnan doing his remaining 3 films until 2001. craig takes over, starts with qos and does another 2 which brings us up to the present. i said risico and carte blanche, but realistically, those 2 films could have had any title. i feel that all the actors have done the job at the right age and left at the right age which is just as important
