You want to know a "James Bond" actor who had great success afterwards?
Barry Nelson played "Jimmy Bond" in "Casino Royale" for the Climax Mystery Theatre on CBS, October 21, 1954.
He went on to do Airport (1970) and The Shining (1980).

Two films in which he had minor roles is hardly 'great success'... 8-)
. . .But next Tuesday is November 1; November 3 is Thursday. Which is it. . .?

They will probably make another announcement the day before and announce the time of the press conference. As I recall in 2008, the Press Conference was on SKY News.
The source is Club James Bond France. Remember: If this pans out, I want the credit for being first on AJB to report it. If it`s wrong it`s the Frenchs fault!

I knew their would be a leak somewhere. I think I will wait until I can hear it from the mouth of Michael G. Wilson, Barbara Broccoli or Sam Mendes in 3 hours, 30 minutes.
Officially confirmed as Skyfall by Michael G Wilson now. China, Istanbul, Argyll in Scotland and Whitehall confirmed *filming* locations outside Pinewood. And to quell rumours, there's "lots of action".
First Bond to be filmed in the People's Republic of China, interesting.
Who was there of the cast and crew? Kind of disapointing that they didn`t have anything completely new to us and not much that hasn`t been debated here allready, but that is mainly the fault of people like us.

I do, down2000. I can't wait for the press conference next month. I'm hoping they will announce the new title then as they did in January 24, 2008.
I would like the title to be "Property of a Lady". It sounds like a good 50th Anniversary title.
If the title is "Skyfall". Well, it doesn't sound too exciting. But then you had "Moonraker" and the movie did well.

I hope it is, I'd really like to know the title at least.

Such as it being 50 years to the day after Sean Connery's announcement as Bond. Was Bond really kept off screen due to worldwide recession though?
