At the time 1986 was it? I was chocked when they said Brosnan was going to be Bond, I though he looked Gay in Remington Steel, and that was my image of him for a long time, then TD got the part, and for that time he was ok in my book, yes he seemed nervous but certainly not Gay .
When Brosnan finally got the part and I saw him in GE I was hooked, he had aged and looked more the part in my eyes, it might have been that he got rid of that cat he kept on his head
Markus..... Well i have a pasion for Dalton... perhaps (IMO) the best actor to play JB...... BUT BUT BUT SC defined the role so nobody comes close to him......

Brosnan was too young when they have casted for TLD. But it was a no-brainer, that he would be Bond for GE. EVERYONE knew it!
Dalton was not nervous: He seemed to be desperately trying to convince us that he did not belong to Kindergarten.
