Would you go see a Rated "R" James Bond movie?

Would you go see a James Bond movie that was Rated "R"? What if it was "R" for violence. What if it was "R" for nudity or sexual situations?

Sure, I would go see it, but I don't think the Bond franchise really needs an R rating. I think PG-13 suits it just fine.

Doesn't need it, but I wish every movie was rated r for language, sex, and violence if there was any of those things in the film in the first place.

I concur with this statement. Nowadays even PG-13 pushes the limit with violence, sex and language. If it was Rated "R" there would have to be something in it that was very explicit. No need for that in a Bond movie. Bond is a man of class and most of the movies try to stay classy. Plus, when a movie is rated "R", it limits who can see it. I highly doubt the producers and investors want a limited audience seeing their picture.

I would see it and wouldnt mind unless they were just putting stuff in to get the R rating and I would be displeased if the movie was just a vehicle for Bond to curse or have over the top violence

Wouldn't that mean more content can make it into the film? I think people would be more upset the other way around, if it went PG-13 after being R.

Didn't Licence to Kill almost get a "Rated R" movie rating back in the late 80's? Because that's what I heard. I believe that I heard Licence to Kill was going to be Rated R before some content was cut so it could be Rated PG-13 instead.

I would be really upset if James Bond movies became R rated. Like, I would cry of devistation.

) It would limit and prevent newer, younger audiences from indulging into the world of Bond.

Also, as mentioned above, Bond is a man of class and sophistication, there is no need for heavier violence, nudity or swearing. Plus, we have to remember not all Bond fans are men! I wouldn't want to go to a Bond movie to see naked women or even naked men, it's not what it's about.

MA 15+ would be too much as well, IMHO. Mostly because I still wouldn't be able to see it yet..
Reasons being aforementioned.
