Dame Judi Dench visited Tokyo this week to attend a ceremony. She received the Praemium Imperial Award for Theatre and Film from Japanese prince on Wednesday.
She said she visited Japan for the first time in forty years (the previous visit was with the Royal Shakespeare Company).
In an interview with Japanese paper, she briefly talked about playing M.
She said like (not quite sure what she exactly said in English) the power is fascinating, giving orders to Bond is fun since M's charactor is very different to herself. She does a lot of research beforehand and meets some specialists...
