Judi Dench and Kevin McNally

Both played parts in both series. McNally as Joshamee Gibbs in the whole POTC series and as an HMS Ranger crewman in The Spy Who Loved Me. Dench as M of course and as the society lady in the carriage in POTC: On Stranger Tides.

Before I saw the user name I thought it was going to be another james362001 question. Well noticed anyways. Is the picture of the chap on the submarine resized? Maybe my memory is dud but I swear he didn't look that chubby in the pts of the film?

The picture isn't resized it's a screen capture from the DVD. He does look a bit chubby, but he has always had a rather full face. He also never gets a frontal in the movie just from the side, which makes it more difficult to pick him out. If I've got this right, POTC4 actually filmed the fountain of youth sequence in the 007 sound stage and McNally makes a comment on the bonus disk with POTC4 that he started his career here with TSWLM and here is is all these years later back in the same place. Not an exact quote, but basically what he said.

My spouse actually realized it was Judi Dench before I did. I was thinking that really looks like M, but spouse beat me to it.

What is the big deal here? Jonathan Pryce played in both series. And there are at least four ties between the Bond series and the tv series Frasier. Whoop-t-dooo.
