I wish her the best of luck. The children's market is a hard one. Has your wife done it herself or gone with a vanity publisher? If it's self published she might keep a bit of control in the project and even see the costs recovered.

self pub, did you have a look at the web site, Its not quite a kids book, the characters are Ginger Bread Willie & Ginger Bread Fanny, inuendo book have a look at the site,
