Why I don't think Daniel Craig and Sean Connery were any good as 007, by Bond legend Sir Roger Moore
" Sir Roger Moore has revealed he does not think Daniel Craig or Sean Connery were as good as him at playing 007.
Sir Roger slammed Craig's latest offering Quantum of Solace and said he had struggled to decipher Connery's Scottish accent, in a speech at Cambridge University.
'Sean is a good actor, it’s a pity I can’t understand what he’s saying,' he said, according to the Daily Mirror.
Speaking about Daniel Craig's latest Bond outing Quantum of Solace, he added: 'I didn't like the last Bond film, it was like a long, disjointed commercial.'
Sir Roger, who last played the secret agent in 1985's View to a Kill, said the 2008 blockbuster was spoiled by a shaky plot.
He appeared in seven films in the franchise and is the longest-serving Bond actor.
The 84-year-old told students the best thing about playing 007 for more than a decade was 'being paid on Fridays'.
He said his favourite Bond girl was his fourth wife Kristina Tholstrup, 71, a Danish-Swedish multi-millionaire who was listening in the audience.
Johnny Depp is his favourite contemporary actor, he said, but he added: 'I just wish he would change his name to something I can remember.'

I'm sure his remarks about Sir Sean are tongue in cheek but I couldn't agree with him more about QoS !! B-)

My favourite line ....
'Today, he’s 84 and knighted for his work as a Goodwill Ambassador to Unicef, which he says is just as well, as he’d have had to wait ‘500 years’ to be honoured for his acting '
