QoS Tom Ford Coat

Guys I need a bit of help.

There is a chap on eBay selling a copy of the Tom Ford coat, from the end scene in QoS. He says he is a member on here and that a few members have bought coats from him.

His name is Karol Semra, has anybody bought one and what was the coat like?

Many thanks

A few people have done and report that the product and service were both good. As the following thread shows:

This reputation is somewhat tainted by his eBay account having some dodgy negative feedback for damaged and missing items and I read that communication is vague. Quite a contrast. As I'm not the kind of person to go throwing money around over the internet, I would err on the side of caution.

Other options include Baron Boutique ($419) and Magnoli ($800). Both of whom have SOLID reputations and offer good products.

Karol makes an excellent coat. I had no problems in my dealings with him.

I bought a coat not long ago from him and was very disappointed. After several emails there was no reply, and after a month there was no sign of one, or, indeed, the coat. I eventually got eBay to refund my money. Wholly a bad experience, and I felt it was such a safe bet because of the feedback on here from him.

Karol has moved which is why his emails went unanswered. I heard from him and he seems to be back in action. He is a fine tailor and I recommend him. He had made 2 coats and 3 dress shirts. I would contact him before ordering just to keep your mind at ease.
That's a Smith & Wesson, and you've had your six.

That's fair enough. But you see; for me that's a pretty rubbish excuse when running a business. Surely the onus would have been on him to contact his customers. I assume Xppx3's problem has been resolved by way of insurance, not much of a solution at all.

Things like that put me right off. So I say again, err with caution.

    I agree. It smells bad.

I have worked with Karol on this coat and am very happy with it. He has helped me on other projects. He is good to work with and always followed up with me.

If you engage him, you will be happy
