Anybody catch masterpiece contemporary's Page Eight?
that was some really good television...
loved the atmosphere, the story and Bill Nighy as the 'suave' british spy for MI6.
the picture was very Casino Royalish, very clean and very vibrant in spite of the fact that its only cloudy or dark in all the scenes.
Ralph Fiennes played the part of PM and man is he a great actor! (although shocked by the horrible baldness happenning on his helmet!!)
Bill nighy played a heck of a part, even convincing me well before the final scene with Rachel Weisz (?) that he could pull THAT off...
great stuff, one of best films ive seen this year...go watch it if you missed it.

Yep, I manged to catch it... and you're right, it was v.good.
I love Bill Nighy - all of his stuff has been first class - would be good in a Bond film too... he played alongside Craig in Enduring Love - great little movie with a v.dark side!
Lexi...
Im dissapointed in how few people caught this film...its too bad really. But im glad someone else did!
This is the first time that i've seen Bill Nighy in anything and i'll be honest at the beginning of the film i could not fathom him being the center of such a film. but it didnt take long to be convinced.
by the end i was sooo rooting that he could get the girl to kiss him. there was something about him that made this very believable.
were you surprised by the kiss or not?
