This is probably old news and maybe somebody has already posted this, but I thought it would be interesting to discuss something that Daniel Craig said in this interview.

"I think that if I was being honest, if you look at the Bond's since the 60's they've either been sort of completely on the nose of their time or completely so out of sync with their time that they're incredibly camp and wonderful."

I think there might be some truth to this because I always felt like the Roger Moore films were out of sync with their time and that the Dalton and Brosnan films were maybe a little bit too politically correct.

I think Roger Moore films were right for the times, as a kid they were they best, but i cant really watch them now, prefer the early Sean Connerys and the Tim Dalton ones and the more serious undertone. CR was brilliant, so heres hoping Skyfall is not a screw up

I definitely feel some odd camp and a bit of 70s and 80s tuning in Moore's. It is the lighter Bond in the franchise, with little grip on realism. There is certainly a time when I am in the mood for them, but CR is my favorite of them all.
